Words I need to share with our Community
I started out making freeware through this site & now I'm able to support my family through FS scenery. Without Avsim, I wouldn't have made it. Thank you Tom.

The End of Flight?
Best of luck to the Team. Fortunately it sounds like most the guys will keep their jobs... Update: Microsoft has informed Kotaku that they have not shut down the studio but it has ended development on flight simulator Microsoft Flight and Project Columbia, a Kinect interactive TV project . I wasn't a big fan of how FLIGHT turned out, it all went horribly in the wrong direction after Hussain left. But, can we have FSXI now? Or was this the final act for Microsoft Simulations?
- Best AIRPORT texutre add on?

Delayed Disproportional Development Dates
I'm sorry for the long development time on Montreal but unfortunately there's a long way still to go. The screenshots released in February may look complete but if you turned the camera around 180 degrees you would see a vast empty void revealing months worth of Research, Modelling, UV mapping, Ambient Occlusion Baking & Texturing. Montreal is a very cluttered airport & i'm modelling most of it, to a higher standard than I've done before, plus the surroundings/photoscenery/autogen all within performance & time restraints. The scenery isn't in beta testing even now. Its all pure development & hard work. Beta testing for scenery takes about 3.5 minutes btw :P I will be posting new screenshots of the completed main terminal soon however. It's probably the most complex (realtime) model I've ever had to make. Phew, I'm knackered too.
