  1. Thanks guys! One more thing before purchase. Does pmdg Support w8.1/w10? They website only says w7. CheerS
  2. My country airliner only uses B737-700/800 for regional flights, so its my first choice. But im afraid to get frustrated and throw away everything As i do not have FSX-SE installed yet, my plan is to use the PMDG (or the Airbus) with stock scenery, and only freeware weather engine and textures for clouds. I hope to get +30fps with no stutters.
  3. I dont have FSX installed right now to check it Surely you are using some third party mesh
  4. Great! I will think a bit more my desition before purchase! I don't want to spend +50 bucks and get bored in a week
  5. Wow guys, thanks to everyone. I did not expect so many replies! Hi olli. My big concern is if the A318/319 are fully complatible with FSX SE. I did not find anything that specifies that. Only a thread of people reporting problems with the right FMC and other stuff. Yeah! Its the same with A2A wonderful aircrafts! The only thing that stops me from buying the PMDG is: Stetics. I'd love to use the 600 series, as its the most common version on my country. But i have to pay another 24 bucks to use it Just kidding I love froogle. I almost never miss one of his videos. Thats what is holding me to buy the A318/A319, i have to find a YT that teachs me how to use it and can understand enough, as im not a native english speaker. And thank you for your offer! Talking seriusly, which has better performance/less stutters? PMDG 737 or AS A318/A319? Could someone confirm that the Airbus are fully compatible with Steam edition?
  6. I have always been a GA guy, but i want to get into the world of the big ones. What are your suggestions to a first payware airliner? My goal is to learn how to fly it, and start to get comfortable. I'd like something a bit cheaper and less complicated than the PMDG 737, but i have no complains if its the most suitable for me. Must be FSX-SE compatible! Thanks in advance.
  7. Not only the GHz count in a processor, the IPC (intructions per cicle) has to performance. So thats why a P4 3.0GHz barely could move FSX at full settings, and now a Core i3 at the same clock speed can manage it without issues.
  8. W10 and DX12 are a must. I also will have to break my piglet to buy a fully DX12 support VGA
  9. Have been using FSX SE since day one, no problems with it nor my others steam games. I try to keep my simulator pretty light
  10. I was using the same (stock) configuration as Ryan since i was born. So what are you saying is put the sensitive sliders FULL RIGHT, and the NULL ZONE sliders FULL LEFT?
  11. The only change i'd do is get an GTX 960/970 GPU, but its not necessary. FSX likes Nvidia. Get an SSD if you don't have one, its a total no brainer not only for FSX, but for improve whole speed of the PC. I am using a little 60GB SSD only for MS and Chrome and i can't go back to HD .- Your RAM seems to be 1600MHz (800x2 because of DDR). I think there isn't 800MHz DDR3 sticks, i usually see them starting at 1066/1333.
  12. Autogen surely. Did you return to Default on FTXCentral before deleting the folders? T
  13. I got your point, but Global+Vector is expensive for me and im not interested on it for the moment. Thanks for posting, I think i will buy AU. Any aiport recommendations?
  14. I am not really convinced with AU and the fact that if i want to get non-default airport (like others regions) i have to load my sim with 2 or 3 GB more and lots of library entries.. And it could kill my load times or framerate! I sound like a girl i know, but a light sim is important for me  As i dont know the region well, if you could suggest 2 or 3 good performance near freeware GA-Airports (LOL) to use as home-base, will be great! Or tell me your fauvorites ones of the region
  15. Thanks guys! Last night i considered the NRM+CRM combo, as there is not huge metropolitan areas (FPS might not suffer) thoughts?
  16. Thanks both! You'd say that the performance on heavy areas (canberra, sydney? is similar than the newer regions (like San Francisco, Seattle)? Maybe the 'newest' technologies will make flying over these areas "smoother"
  17. Hi everyone, i was thinking to purchase ORBX AU SP4 as i have few bucks to spend! It's a shame I did not get on time to the sale, but my room needed new paint! I mostly do GA flying, but at some point i'd like to try the light airliners (dash8) so i thought that a huge region will be the best. I want to know your opinions against the other NA regions, mostly on performance, attractions and quality (Considering Central Rockies too). I did some research and saw screenshots with mostly 15-20FPS on the counter, so this really push me back. My sistem is not high end, i own a i5 3470 and a GTX 660Ti SC 3GB, but my sim is pretty light, and I'm planning to do a full reinstall of windows soon. So thats it, thanks in advance!
  18. Aerosoft Beaver should be on the list! I (we maybe?) need an Accusim version
  19. What 'd you choose for the first North american region? Norcal or CRM? Which is more FPS friendly? I like the fact that CRM is different, not the traditional place with lots of green and trees, but its so vast that i am scared to get lost there
