    They could do worse than hire a proof reader I think (not just that review, though it is way longer than it needs to be, almost all of their news articles have basic spelling mistakes in them).

    Yeah I’ve only had 3 crashes in about 5 months, and that was all at the same time when I was trying to make it crash... (at a particular airport it seemed to struggle with). That’s with a 1070 on 80% of 4K.

    I don’t think anyone’s saying you will get arrested for it. Just that it’s likely against the Ts&Cs and you may run into problems by doing it.

    I would definitely recommend flying about 15-20 miles north west of paro airport. It’s absolutely nuts on this sim. I bet there will be about 200k sim planes over the alps by tea time though.

    Ditto. It’s a generational leap in digital entertainment that will form a yardstick for a while I think. I think the reviews today have shown how much this is crossing over too I think. It will be very interesting to see how much this sells over the next few weeks, and then how much more of a community it fosters, and what impact that has. Also, well done microsoft for showing faith in a relatively small development house to produce something so stunning too.

    It massively depends on how much time you spend at the same airports, how much you look around them when you’re there, and at what point your morality meter comes in to stop you buying pointless stuff. would definitely recommend having a look at stuff without buying anything for a while though. However, I do get the point about supporting devs in what might be a fairly sketchy time for them.

    There’s a good chance it’ll take bronze I think after cyberpunk and tlou pt2. Obviously it’s game of the year in our hearts. the thing I like best about the mainstream reaction is how it is the first proper, real example of a next generation game (chill out).

    It will be absolutely fine, you can go above 1080p if you have the monitor.

    No chance they were playing on a 1070 on high settings over New York in 4K, and getting 30fps.

    I wonder if had microsoft realised/ known earlier about just how much interest there was going to be in the game, they might have added in a few more things to keep engagement with new people to the sim genre. Even the most stripped down and sand boxy things like train simulator still have some sort of structure you can play it to if you want too.
