  1. Thanks, however it's too late for me. It's 14 days and not 60 days as stated above.
  2. Thanks for that info, I was not aware. V5 did not work for me so I'll ask for a refund.
  3. Thanks Peter and Benjamin. Yeah Peter, let's hope that by the end of the year of beginning 2022 we have OpenLC Asia completed!
  4. V4.5 is rock solid for everyone. V5 is stable and improves performance for the majority but not for all. Some still experience crashes and do not see performance improvement.
  5. From Viet Sim Scenery I presume?
  6. Guys, Some of you are really incredible! You still find the energy to participate to a Nth thread on MSFS - P3D 😉
  7. In the past, from distance, I've ever looked at Pacsim as a 2nd or 3rd tier scenery developer specialized in exotic small destinations (islands). Last november I started to buy several sceneries from them and I have completely changed my mind. I was quite pleased with Taiwan RCTP and Philippine RPLL: good textures, nice custom coverage of areas surrounding those big airports and good fps optimization resulting in a great and fluid experience. With Cleveland, it seems that Pacsim has gone one step further. I would say they are very near to belong to the first-tier developers, especially if in the future they confirm their 'new mastering' by releasing 1 or 2 sceneries of the quality of Cleveland.
  8. I think very few user will buy both versions. You would get a quicker response by sending an email directly to the dev.
  9. Thanks for the info. By watching the pictures for V4, the textures seem ultra sharp, much clearer than in their previous sceneries. High price yes but still under 30$ contrary to some of their other sceneries. But maybe because the coverage around the airport is reduced.
  10. Yes I could see your efforts and the improvements on Noi Bai and Da Nang by looking at the new screenshots. When you release Tan Son Nhat, I'll install it and give you a feedback. It's OK for me to install the scenery manually if you provide detailed instructions. But please don't propose to override default P3D textures. I really hope that you will become the specialist of quality vietnamese airports in the medium and long term 🙂
  11. Hi Duc/Viet Scenery, Thanks for coming here. I bought VVTS Tan Son Nhat but I don't check Simmarket everyday so when you update it, can you please post here. I have not installed VVTS yet because your installer proposes to override some default P3D textures. Can you change that please? PS: so Hoang is a real life Captain? What bird does he fly?
  12. @Ray Proudfoot No problem Ray. You had a mad week and additionnaly you are moderator so you monitor many threads. I can easily imagine that sometimes the brain can mess up. I got Simwings Heathrow 2 years ago and it had a huge framerate impact so I did not reinstall it on my P3Dv4 . However I will try again the next time I install P3Dv5. Thx for the tip. Meanwhile I'll enjoy v4.5 🙂 Otherwise my AI trafic is always OFF as a personal preference.
  13. @Ray Proudfoot Yes Ray. 2K is indeed 2560*1440. I gave my systems specs on the previous page 😉 i5 4670K @4.3 Ghz - 32 Gb DDR3 - GTX 1080 8 Gb
  14. I have one 2K monitor. I realize I am in the minority that do not notice an upturn in fps. But as you know every system is different. So I'll try again one of the next version of P3Dv5 and see how it goes. Thanks.
  15. @Ray Proudfoot Ray, weren't you a strong advocate of P3Dv4.5 until recently? 4.5 was even in your signature until yesterday or so! Just kidding you since everyone is entitled to change his opinion 😁 I have already tried V5 but ended uninstalling it for the following reasons: (i) I have not personally noticed on my particular PC a significant improvement in graphics and fps. (ii) Also I got some blurries in the 737 NGXu that I could not really solve with the PMDG support. So at this time I'm staying on 4.5 and will retry V5 in the next versions and maybe revise my position accordingly.
  16. Agree with you. I bought my PC in november 2013 and have upgraded it over time (GPU, RAM, SSD), except the CPU indeed. I confess that I got a good return on investment since today I still have an overall fluid experience with most sceneries (FT, FB,...) , PMDG planes, P3D settings 80% to the right. I have also a satisfying experience with DCS. My plan is to stay on P3D 1 or 2 years more with the current PC. And when I move to MSFS I will buy a new rig.
  17. Hi Ray, My hardware: i5 4670K @4.3 Ghz - 32 Gb DDR3 - GTX 1080 8 Gb - 2K @165 Hz G-Sync
  18. So I de-activated all options and sadly I still have a fps hit/stutters on ground during taxi. I regret this purchase from FT. In FT Hong Kong Kai Tak which includes the city, and with 90% of the FT scenery options to ON, I have a fluid display. Go figure... Anyway, thanks both for coming in my thread.
  19. CaptKornDog: thank you for the infos regarding the 18 Hz. That is what holding me back from purchasing the QW787 because I'm too used to fluid displays by other developers 😉
  20. Many thanks for coming in this thread, and for your suggestions. I'll try. The newer FT sceneries such as Copenhagen or Vienna V2 work fine for me.
  21. Hi mates, I've purchased recently FlyTampa KTPA Rebooted, installed it and applied the update for P3Dv4. Compared to other bigger FlyTampa sceneries I own, in this case the fps hit is quite noticeable, with comparable settings. Especially when the main terminal is in sight (see screen below). I wonder if it is just me or if this 'old' scenery have not been optimised to the fullest for P3Dv4. If someone have encountered this issue and has some tips, I would appreciate. PS: I have disabled the 3D people animation that has a high impact on framerate, while the other settings have low or moderate impact. Please don't tell me to go to the FlyTampa forum. I've searched already in the KPTA sub-forum and there was no result for fps hit. Also, whilst FlyTampa makes excellent sceneries, sometimes they answer support request, sometimes they don't.
  22. I think that will be the future for me too, but I plan to move only to MSFS in 1-2 years. Many thanks for that. And congrats for the frequent updates.
  23. Just in case: if you had the 737NGXu for P3Dv4, you don't need to buy it again for v5.
