  1. The borderline between a beta (or unfinished product) and a finished product with issues or bugs is not easy to establish. In the latter case, the developer is (normally) not ***aware*** of the issues when he releases the product. Also nowadays, no released software is bug free. So maybe a finished product should not feature ***significant*** bugs or issues?
  2. In my understanding the new installer must be used first. The PMDG Ops center in a second step for micro-updates.
  3. I also second the request to remove the coughs.
  4. Who flies the FSX default aircrafts? And who wants to port FSX default aicrafts to P3D? 😉
  5. Nice and original, thanks the info. The texturing looks OK/good. Now we will have to see for the physics.
  6. I know it's weird to say but I think I'm gonna uninstall the 777 and the 200ER expansion. Will reinstall later this year when the VC update is released. I'm now too used to the HD VC of the NGXU. Additionally, I can achieve a better setting to reproduce what a real pilot sees in the cockpit without the PFD and ND being too small to read. Anybody in a similar case or thinking?
  7. Hi Bryan, I guess he means indeed add 4 letters on the icon directly. I think it's a good idea.
  8. A business has to pay the salaries and the electricity so I do not believe in FREE things. For marketing purposes it is presented as free, but it is more accurate to say "with no additional cost". When the 777 was ported to P3D, the higher price (compared to FSX) was justified by the fact that it included future updates. So actually we have already paid for the update that has just been released.
  9. If you are in a hurry, try de-installing, then re-installing your current FS2Crew. It might work if you are on P3Dv4.
  10. I purchased the 200ER even though I expected the price to be more around $40-60 instead of $77.72 Now it makes me smile when I read that the Base Package update is advertised as free. It would be more accurate to say 'with no additional cost'. Because PMDG has to pay the costs and salaries of the employees. So the work has to be funded. The funding comes from of course the base package sales if the update workload has been anticipated and reflected in the price. I also suspect that part of the update cost comes from the 200ER sales. Because the EFB is tied to the 200ER, I feel uncomfortable for fellows who want the EFB but are not interested in the 200ER variant. They cannot spend $77 for the EFB. Of course nobody forces them to buy but it would have been more fair IMHO to make the EFB a separate purchase.
  11. Hi Bryan, I sent a support ticket to try FS2Crew 777 Version 3.3
  12. I would be very interested in such a feature too. For the time being, the (not perfect) work-around I'm using is to save a situation with the FS2Crew window active. The next time I load the situation, the FS2Crew windows is at the same place.
  13. Hello Hoang, Many thanks for the screens. Looks OK/good for the price. I'll get VVTS (I'm originally from there) when the update is released. As you are beta-tester, please keep us informed of any news in this thread. By the way, can you please tell the developer that it would be nice if he comes here on AVSIM to discuss with us?
  14. I'm more interested in traditional preview/review a la Froogle. And not into 1 hour or more streaming a la gaming sauce. I watched 5 min the Chewwy streaming and quited. I'm a noob with Twitch: yesterday I saw that: 1) people can send donation? 2) and also user X 'did' something to user Y (sorry I don't recall the words displayed on the screen): what is it?
  15. If the current FS2Crew 777 does not work, I will wait for your update because I cannot fly without my FS2Crew copilot. True! No kidding.
  16. Hi Bryan, D day or the 777 release is today, or tomorrow or saturday. Currently I have uninstalled the 777 (because there will be a new installer). But I have not uninstalled FS2Crew 777. You said that 'FS2Crew 777 should work'. So can I install the new 777 and try FS2Crew? Or is there a risk of messing up things? I will not try to tweak or do things manually, it's not my thing to tweak files, etc. Can you clarify please.
  17. I don't fly much in the US, except to US transoceanic destination airports, however I am happy that: T2G is still alive (even if they are not the kings of communication and support) They produce new scenery with apparently the same quality as before They continue to support P3D They said they will update their sceneries for V5 (even if I'm still on V4.5) Maybe I will buy KIND to support them.
  18. Good question. I have not seen RSR elaborating more than this:
  19. Hi all, Thank you for your feedback. Agree with you Benjamin regarding more daytime screenshots and closeups of the scenery. On the other hand I am tempted to buy one airport to encourage the author because vietnamese airports are very rare.
