As with any game that is a live service, online authentication is essential. Even if you choose to fly 'offline' .. the sim is still connected to an xbox gamertag and I can only assume to prevent piracy, it verifies your client version.

Meh, free handcrafted scenery is fantastic for casual gamers. Its a sample platter of whats out there if they want to invest more in their immersion. Also worth noting in terms of reviews, its probably being overlooked right now as st. Maarten is currently trending for 3PD scenery releases.

That video would have most likely taken multiple attempts, one with cockpit footage, one with b roll, one with wing views etc. Its high quality stuff and not all done in one take.

Always found that part funny when 3PD teams choose to say that but have made nowhere near the level of effort as the 320nx team. Sure i guess they cant port their own systems in as previously done in every older title but thats just being lazy porting stuff over rather than learning from square one and to charge nearly as much as they used to has no justification. Then again it is completely their choice how they do business, just a lackluster response blaming the sdk.

Yes. It has met my expectations of being a game encapsulating the world of flight. Out of the box aircraft have more built in functionality than previous microsoft titles, folks will say "but x-plane..." and yes, austin at laminar runs an amazing simulator too. Both sides have drawbacks and both sides have winning points and as a consumer I'm just happy that at the confort of my desktop I can appreciate a hobby that in the real world would set me back thousands of dollars in training and limit me to a single engine prop or multi engine prop if that rating was on the table. The game does well, has worked for me out of the box and the only things I have had issues with personally has been of my own learning curve with the sdk. It can only improve.

Is it just ctd fix or did the lads slide anything else in there for us to check out?

the way you initially worded it in your OP speaks of the focus mode on camera. but sure, if it was in settings before then it was there. Still like the use of it in normal eye angle use.

?? you are talking about focus.... that is not motion blur. motion blur is not focus. like even the names are different. bruh.

Mod folder full of liveries. Tried the neo mod dev build. All stable, i am keen to just start doing 1 on 1 support with users having crashes to see how their sims are setup. I run everything with live and play daily and only times i have hit a wall are when i mess with the sdk for scenery developing. I dont even run a high end system and this update boosted my frames from a hovering 38fps on average to 49fps with that sweet sweet eye candy popping off.

the lads at FBW work fast, but according to them, dev build is the way to go for now until they rectify issues.

not sure if you just chose to ignore what was suggested, but the stable version is outdated, use the developer build if you wish to use the neo mod.

Yeah if anything its the motorways lit up like an indy track, i do enjoy the improvement regardless.
