Still in development, optimizations haven't happened yet so we're not going to post any FPS figures until we feel we're at an optimized state...

I can't wait for this new PMDG aircraft... Really looks promising.

My only hope is that it is better than the MD-11. In 2D the MD-11 is great (25-30 FPS on the ground at Heathrow 2008), but in VC frame rates drop considerably (10-15 at best). Not good. :(Seeing as the VC is the only option in the J-41, I hope you guys can nail this. It won't stop me buying it though. FSX picks up quickly just after takeoff.Best regards,Robin.

Looks fantastic. The icing on the wing - is that an FS first? I've never seen it done before. Thaks for the screenies.Rhydian

Oh dear Dan, plane got ahead of you.... I suppose by that you mean you crashed....Still any landing you can walk away from..... they say, so all Sim landings must be good lolNope Rhydian, not the first :( I'll just wait patiently and drool Ryan :( - Wont find me pestering you all with the silly question lol. Tis a work of art though I must say.Going for Window7 64bit later in the year.... you devils make this upgrade my essential now... but thanks anyway for giving me the fun back into Flightsim.John Ellison

GPWS=Ground Proximity Warning SystemResponsible for the "Pull up, terrain" and so on aural warnings...On some aircraft, that switch is to disable the GPWS warnings related to incorrect flap positions...Check out http://www.smartcockpit.com/pdf/plane/bae/...1/systems/0004/scroll down to the pages on the GPWS:"For flight situations when the pilot must land without full flaps, the GPWS can be desensitized to eliminate unwanted alerts and warnings..."Hope this helps a bit at least...Andrew

No - the Flight1 Mustang does this, too.Best regards,Robin.

I hope the ice accumulation affects performance on the JS41... Because on the F1 Mustang is only a visual effect.

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

Fritz,Ice accumulation affects performance on both the JS41 and the Mustang...as it does on all FSX aircraft if you let it. (You can turn off icing effects in Active Sky.)

I assume that I will be able to disable annoying warnings like "don't sink"? I really hate them.

These can be permanently disabled.... by crashing.
