November 18, 200916 yr Some of the FSX flaws are surprising (well, not really surprising) and make the ERJ 2.0 look like a toy in many respects; the interior night lighting and the exterior lighting come to mind. Both the red beacon and the wingtip strobes blink furiously like a disco club. Also, the interior all-or-nothing night lighting is very disappointing. Lastly, when you turn on the landing lights, the white light in the tail becomes a huge glowing globe of over-the-top proportions. I will say that the panel is great and the flight model feels good. For anyone who's been giving your money to feelThere (and their abusing uncle Wilco) since the beginning, you really shouldn't be surprised: you have a prom queen with bad acne and a few warts. Here's hoping that SP1 solves all ills. BTW feelThere, 16:9 and 16:10 monitors are prevalent and CHEAP. Please consider rolling some of your profits into improvements in your tools. I get the sense that you are running on machines you bought when you started up as a dev shop and have never updated since (i.e. 4:3 ratio monitors, 32-bit-only OSes, etc.) Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

November 18, 200916 yr Funny... I really don't understand these kind of thing. How can you, in 2009(!!!), continue to develop 2D panels with 4:3 format only... I REALLY CANNOT understand an approach like that being a developer... Really don't... Really really don't understand... :( Same thing goes for yoke that cannot be lowered... :(How can you, in 2009, even want a 2d panel at all? VC is 2009 . . 2D so 20th century. / :(
November 18, 200916 yr fixed in upcoming SP. review the 'known issues' thread in the feelThere support forum.--any chance of the SP addressing the virtual cockpit night lighting?
November 18, 200916 yr any chance of the SP addressing the virtual cockpit night lighting?McPhat Studios are discussing this with the developer...stay tuned. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
November 19, 200916 yr Bought it yesterday and have 2 flights so far. Major improvement over the initial FT ERJ. The only problem I have is that I can't seem to get my copilot in Radar Contact to handle the comms........ :( The installed copilot calls out the checklists, etc. but using it I lose the RC copilot. Anyone know how to reconfigure it so I can? It's a little hard hitting CNTR-SHFT-1 all the time...... :( Steve Lewis
November 19, 200916 yr Commercial Member I actually like this plane a lot. Have about 10 full flights in with it now and it's almost like a jet J41 in a sense because you have to control the thrust and vertical profile yourself as well. The checklist thing is well done too and helped a lot with learning the startup procedure quickly. I hope they add the ability to lower/remove the yoke in the VC though, it's always blocking the MFD's buttons and knobs. That and a widescreen 2D panel would be my two requests. All the rest has been covered and an SP is promised, so we'll just wait for the bus. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

November 19, 200916 yr the PMDG 747 had a great option to lower the yoke so it didn't get in the way, because in reality your viewpoint is higher and the yoke is closer to you, it never gets in the way of your viewing the gauges. I would rather see the yoke be lowered instead of completely gone, I like seeing it there
