Carenado aircraft wish list

Featured Replies

For me i think carenado is ready to make us a quality GA jet aircraft. I think there are not enough out there, however if that never happens i would pay good money for a quality socata TBM 700/850 that would be awesome

Yeah I agree a tbm 700/850 would be cool. As well as a new jet would be cool. Such as a beech premier 1 or hawker 400 or if you want to go a little bigger a Lear 40. Or :) a Pacific Aerospace p750 XSTOL. Carenado would do great with any of these. The jets would require some glass gauges. They would need to do a fms though depending on what they did. As long as they don't just put the default gps as a background on a proline 4 or something. They should be ok. Maybe they could convince reality xp to make the glass gauges.. They seem to have a nice relationship with themMy two cents Lee

Hi Folks,my next wish would be a Beechcraft Super King Air B200 as a logical follower to the upcoming C90B , which shows a lot of positive feedback allready, and keep in mind "the other B200 for FSX" is still forbidden to talk or even think about :( ! So no one in sight to steal the deal! :Peace:Just my two cents!

Best regards,

Baron G58 (do-able now that they are doing a G1000 for yet another top winger).TBM 850... The 2012 version; G1000, GFC 700 autopilot, etc... or at least nothing with avidyne. (Should be #1 on the next list. Why don't we have a good TBM after all these years?!?)Avanti P180 II (Again... a major RW seller with NO representation in FS.. at least by professionals (and Abacus doesn't count... at all))2011-12 King airs (any) with current Pro Line 21 systems and updated engines and the new cowling system.2012 Corvalis TTxI guess I'm just tired of old planes. I mean, hell... I will almost never be able to own any of these new or old... But I got a sim that can fly ANYTHING.. Why waste it on older planes of current manufacture? I'm not talking about classics, or out of production models of course.Price is not an issue if the plane is done right.

I want a TBM 700 without G1000... but I'd take one if it were an 850...I prefer to avoid glass in FS because it usually means major decrease in fps..

Something simple and sentimental (for me anyway)... A Mooney 210 (Cadet). Two place, side by side, low wing, monocoque, Continental 90 as the power plant. Flies like a rock until you try to land it at Palm Springs in the summer time, and then you learn what 'slip' is all about real quick. Here are some images of a 210 for sale in North Carolina (as of today):

Small and cuddley

I don't remember all that clutter in the cockpit

And my panel was entirely "crinkled" mat black - certainly not pink(ish)

You can find this airplane here and see some of the details. The aircraft shown was produced in 1970. My first a/c in training was a M210 Cadet and that was in 1971 / 72. Brand new!

Tom, if you long for your hot-rod two seater, the RV7 is likely the modern equivalent.Try on the Bay Tower Studios RV for size - it will put a smile on your face! And yes, you can remove the wheel fairings.. :(

Those RV's are very popular in the RW too. There was a web site of a guy building one with updates/pictures as he went along. He had to sell it 75% done because of the usual things (kids/recession/etc), which was a real bummer. I forget the page link, but a google search will bring it up. He had some really good write ups about engine selection, and what all the numbers meant, etc.As far as glass VC's go... FPS is not an issue if the dev. does a good job of it. The latest JetProp from Carenado is a good example. I'm lucky that I have a super computer to play with, so I'm biased...LOL. New computers today can easily handle the big add ons now.. Sometimes eating and paying the bills is just not that important anyhow! I still think you can offer both steam and glass... That would theoretically double your potential customer base right? God how I'd love to have a TBM 850 with a wicked paint job sitting in a hanger somewhere right now. Of course the cost of such an endeavor would cover the cost of commercial flight tickets for life... for the whole neighborhood.

I would also prefer a TBM 850 (2012 model). Would be real cool to ride this plane and if they will make some days a jet then I would looking forward to have a Cessna XLS+.

I need some of whatever wax they used! Great paint.

Just posting a silly across-the-board statement. Please do more turbine planes! I love them for whatever reason. :(

Yeah a 350i would be great. But I think Carenado would do better just doing a older 300 or 350 panel. The ones before they started making them with proline avionics. Maybe because of the C90 the cockpit part would be quite easy. but I agree fsx is in great need of a quality 300/350 Lee
