Carenado aircraft wish list

Featured Replies

I've recently reverted back to FS2004 and so I hope they do the C90 or B200 for FS9. The Aeroworx B200 is awesome, unbeatable in realism but the VC is somewhat dated and so I'd like to see a sharper looking KA, maybe with some better avionics and such.

I'm just curious how the 337 and 208 sold for FS9, as I think I remember them mentioning that those are used to sort of test the waters before making more FS9 stuff.

I think a decent lear would be nice. The only thing that scares me about that is that Carenado makes fantastic visual models, but they fall a bit short on systems simulation C208, (and from what I understand the King Airs as well since I only have FS9) are two examples of this.

That said, if they put out a lear 2X or 3X I'd buy it cause you know it's gonna be better than the default.

I think a decent lear would be nice.

Something a but more current would be better..... It is real. All certification and testing is complete. The first customer units are in production for delivery early in the 2nd quarter of 2013.

I just think that there's a huge gap for mid-size biz jets in both FS9 and FSX. The Honda jet (while I novelty, I do see going the way the MU-2 did back in the 80's lot's of hype but just not really the interest from a large enough customer base, but only time will tell there.) And while Eaglesoft tried to fill that gap with their Hawker and Citation II, the Citation X is pretty much your only real option. I think if someone were to do a mid-size Learjet or Hawker 850 type thing it would sell like hotcakes. The Honda Jet is "just another" entry level/VLJ.

But then again that's just my opinion. And we all know what they say about opinions. :-P

Yeah - I'm anxious to try Eaglesoft but my new personal policy - no purchases unless they offer both FS9 and FSX for a reasonable price... I still use both sims... While not really Carenado's niche - I can't believe that after all these years - we don't have a top notch Lear to fly... The default is sooo bad... I think if I was in the market for a business jet - good old Bombardier would be first on my list - especially since I would be the one flying it...

Have you tried the Baytower RV-7? That should keep you happy for a while :P

One plane I'd love to see someone do well for FSX is the Piaggio P180 Avanti.

Indeed. 400+ kts, room for friends and family, single pilot... and a bathroom!

Not one to fly by the hood at night though... it's loud as hell (on the outside).

I know, one fly's over my house every morning from KOPF. It's loud, but its a sexy loud, typical Italian B)

The BTS RV-7 is awesome, especially combined with Accu-feel. Great VC, great FDE, great visuals, great systems modelling, and lots of repaints done for it. It cruise at 160kts, ~800nm range, aerobatic, IFR capable, and excellent STOL ability. I took it on a 'round the world' trip and was able to land it practically every airstrip possible. It is like if you took the capabilities of RealAir's SF-260 and Scout mixed together.

Cheers

I'd like another twin Cessna. Like a 421 or 441. The F1 is very dated.
