December 23, 200916 yr Considering realism, complexity and features, what would you consider as the best biz jet you have in your add-on arsenal? For me it has to be the Feelthere Legacy EMB-135BJ and the Wilco 737-300 with the N368CE private livery found on Avsim.
December 23, 200916 yr For me it's hands-down Eaglesoft Citation X V2.0. Although it's still in the process of being improved (as in upcoming patch) it has already left any other fs9 bizjet in the dust. Second is their Citation II. I have the feelthere Legacy as well. It's a solidly good addon too but I don't fly it as much as the eaglesoft birds. That's about it on my list. All others I consider "not so good".If we move away from purpose-built biz jets then we are pretty much talking about all airliners as long as you can find a private livery for it. In reality even 747s have executive variant in the middle east. When I fly an airliner as a private jet I try to modify it to get close to reality. For example you can't just use a private livery on the PMDG 737 and call it BBJ because it has different engines, fuel tanks and different weight. I have those numbers modified to represent a BBJ although I can't add a HUD to its cockpit. To the very least an executive conversion of a 737-300 increases empty weight because of the interior if they don't touch the tanks and engines.P.S. And there it is. The new patch has just been released. Eaglesoft support for their products is really top notch. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
December 23, 200916 yr Seconded! The Eaglesoft Citation X v2 is far and away the best bizjet available. I cannot think of a Boeing 737 as a bizjet - no matter what the livery :( . Graeme Butler
December 24, 200916 yr Does a hand-painted private livery Maddog count as a biz jet? :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
December 24, 200916 yr ES Citation X v2 for FS9 is the best biz jet, so far nothing comes close. For FSX it's got to be the Flt 1 Citation Mustang. December 24, 200916 yr Author I dunno.. after playing around with the Citation X some, I found the Legacy to have less of a "comic" feel to the panels. If Eaglesoft could snapshot a real panel of a citation and overlay the bells and whistles, it might be a little more realistic IMHO.

December 24, 200916 yr ... If Eaglesoft could snapshot a real panel of a citation and overlay the bells and whistles, it might be a little more realistic IMHO.Sorry, but I strongly disagree with your assessment. I am NOT a real world pilot but I have viewed every flight deck photo on Airliners.net of the 750 and I say Eaglesoft hit a HOME RUN with the CitX.I find the VC extremely user friendly, complex and a joy to fly ! IMHO, she's a winner !My vote is for the Eaglesoft Citation X v2.0 Extreme. Thanks, Eaglesoft :( Quote
December 24, 200916 yr The Citation X v2.0 is my favorite bizjet in the sim, just wish there were more liveries avaliable for download. While the default ones are nice I would love to get a Netjets paint on it.Dan Daniel

As mentioned, airliners.net should give folks a clue about realworld Citation Panels being flat grey.In real life they are "utilitarian" in appearance.Merry Christmas. :(

December 24, 200916 yr Moderator We are talking about the FS2004 version, right?Since the appearance is identical between FS9/FSX versions, it doesn't matter which is being discussed and/or compared... :( Fr. It is a little less "in your face" and yet very readable :( Bert
