KSEA to KSEA.We never make it off the runway. Bad pilotage. :(

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

If you never actually go off the runway, that might be good pilotage too, for an RTO. :( Al

My first flight will be KSEA - KMWH for the test flight, just like in real life! I see them fly over with only the tail painted all the time!

thanks to PMDG every time i read the word silver i think the "I" and the "L" have been swapped :(

My first flight will be GLO1810 , operated by GOL Linhas Aereas , Brazil , from SBRF to SBBR , 2:15h of flight ! But , first of all , there will be 1 week of testing , touching and going in KSEA , Rejected take off , engine failures and etc.

aww. you people and your random posts trying to keep your hopes up and filling in time so you sound like your not clawing at the door. That really makes this thread worth 62 pages. ^.^

I believe the first flight that I do with the NGX will be from EGLL to LEPA. With London X and Heathrow from UK2000, it should see how it works within dense scenery and on a fairly long flight.

My first flight in the NGX will probably be into LAS, as I fly primarily SWA, and LAS is one of the only airports I have scenery for in FSX.

I don't know what my first flight will be, but I'm already in preparation for the NGX. I've downloaded the existing PMDG documentation for the FS9 version, and I've also downloaded screenshots from airliners.net (overhead, main panel with MCP etc..) Then I go through the PMDG checklist in conjunction with the screenshots, and I'm quickly cutting through the learning curve before the release. It's an enjoyable way to learn while waiting. :(

A suggestion for the long summer months while waithing for the NGX to come - Download and watch the movie "Memphis Belle" from 1990 (if you haven't done so yet). Then go to A2A simulations site and have the magnificent B-17G II Accusim. I could not imagine what fun would it be before actually trying it. IMHO A2A are the PMDG for oldtime airplanes, and the sound which those four radial engines are producing is something to be heard... The pilot has to take good care how flies and works with the engines otherwise the B-17 starts to break down, engines vibrate and cough, there is lots of smoke etc... Simply amazing. There are many interesting interactions with the crew and the ground staff which might give ideas to PMDG how to make the live of the future 737 sim-pilots more eventfull.Enjoy the summer guys, I'm going for a bombing run :)
