February 25, 201016 yr If I may,I am happy about this thread since it brought back Eaglesoft in my mind. Had not look back to them since I got back into flight simming and started using FSX. About the refund policy: you are correct it might be good to better advertise it. I was always under the impression that the Flight1 policy applied to THEIR products only not all the products they distribute. Me thinks the XL2 could be a nice addition to my limited hangar.Sorry if this slightly off topic of the Citation. The Liberty XL2 is a great choice for the "bush flying" types. Having flown the real LXL2 over the beaches in Florida I can say the thing is a blast in real world and sim alike.Yes the same policy applies to ALL Eaglesoft Products. One clarification if we may. Flight One does not as yet distribute Eaglesoft Products. We have had discussions along those lines but Eaglesoft distributes it's own products using the F1 Ecommerce System. :(
February 25, 201016 yr Thank you. We've used the Flight One Ecommerce solution and the 30 Day refund policy since our inception over seven years ago.The fact that you are only now aware of those solutions speaks to us that we need to communicate these facts in a more open fashion in order for folks to be better informed.I too had no idea about this. And it has definitely swung my purchasing decision.Quite honestly, I think ALL payware vendors should do this. Seems the only fair way, especially as you can get such conflicting opinions from other people's forum comments...Ian

This policy removes pressure from customers and benefits us as well. :(
February 25, 201016 yr I wonder why no one has done a repaint of the CX v2.0 (I couldn't find any). A high quality photo real paint would be great. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI

A high quality photo real paint would be great.Does the paint kit in the downloads section at eaglesoft work for the FSX version? I plan on doing a paint or two... however I won't do anything photoreal. I don't believe in or like photoreal stuff. Just a personal choice. Here's a set of screenshots from yesterday:http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...7-30-48-997.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...7-32-57-877.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...7-33-56-168.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...7-34-21-612.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...7-34-39-762.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...7-34-55-983.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/w...8-57-47-870.jpgThe only edit was a slight downsize so they would fit on photobucket. They were originally 1680 x 1050 and are now 1440 x 900. Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!

February 26, 201016 yr Congratulations on the AVSIM review, of course some of us knew it was that good already !!!There is so much to enjoy with this aircraft, what I particularly like is the fact that you can automate everything, fly SIDS / STARS and Approaches through the FMS and make it as complicated as you want. Then again you can choose to leave that and fly as you would the original CX and just use the FMS for the en route phase, or even hand fly it into a uncontrolled airport in mountainous terrain. Any way you go is equally rewarding.. .. ..Using the FMS at it's most basic level you can go from cold & dark to ready to roll in 5 minutes (which is the time it takes the IRS to align), import a flight plan from FSX which is useful if (as in my case) your flight plan is also loaded into Radar Contact, ASA & Plan-G. Yet there is so much more depth to it, if that is what you want.I wish everyone would use the Flight 1 system, since it means that even if you have a passing interest in a aircraft (or addon) you can "buy" and then make a decision as to whether you want to keep it or not .. .. This one is a keeper !!!!!G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
February 26, 201016 yr Many thanks Gazz.Noted a couple of comments over at the Vatsim forum that at least reinforce what the reviewers have to say."Just got to take this bird up again yesterday with the newest hotfix. And I know people are gonna think im crazy but this may as well be the best fms I have ever used. And I have used all the big ones pmdg, lvld, maddog.......""I think a lot of well-simulated FMCs actually simply duplicate the quirks and limitations of the real FMCs, since every FMC is different (indeed, every revision of every FMC may be different). One thing that impressed me about the Eaglesoft Citation X FMC is that it is able to fly a perfect DME arc."The satisfied comments are the ones which put fresh wind in our sails and inspire us to to step things up on each new project. :(
February 26, 201016 yr another vote for a satisfied customer here. with a lack of high quality small iron for fsx (no good 737, etc) I find myself flying the CX v2 a lot! I'm still getting used to the FMC coming from a Boeing airplane, but the quality is right up there with PMDG for sure.

CX2.0 is a bit different than the Boeing in operation but that is part of the fun. :(
