WOW!1. The models!2. Great sound and volume!!!!3. Eye candy galore....EVERYWHERE. Small fields, large fields, those in-between fields, and again...great models. They look fantastic. If you have 5.2b...RUN to update. If you don't have My Traffic X (anything...) run to download it.After having seen what you get for the 12 EUROS upgrade fee (SimMarket) the fee is money VERY WELL SPENT!Lovin' it...and now back to the Caribbean....so many A.I. flights taking off..and again...the sound of the A.I. is awesome. Back to FSX---------------------(zoom)-------->Post Edit: I have Audio Environment Airliner Edition and NOW...I am hearing the premium sounds of the A.I. Whatever was fixed..it was behind the scenes in this My Traffic X 5.3 release. NOW..I'd recommend buying Audio Environment Airliner Edition. Oh yeah...now I would! Cheers!Mitch

Sounds great. I don't have the Audio addon, but I do run My Traffic X 5.2b - would you still recommend the upgrade, even without the sound enhancer? Looks like good value, but I wonder if you think the extra eye candy/busy-ness (as opposed to the sounds) makes it worthwhile.

Paul,I upgraded from 5.2b to 5.3 the day 5.3 became available. I would highly recommend the update. You will not be disappointed!!Regards,Bob

I bought it last week and was very surprised to see that i got the discount :( . Last time i bought My traffic was in 2006 and that was also to a discount price from MT2006V41_for_FS9. So it was really a no brainer to buy at that price, and i like it very much.

Question for you.... Is it still compatible install with ultimate traffic 2? so there are no repeat ai flying same routes and suchThanks in advanceSteve

Absolutely! The new models alone are worth it. They look like what you'd expect from an add-on Heavy Iron purchase. They make 5.2b look like FS98!About the Audio Environment Airliner Edition....I already had that and frankly, you could not hear dip without cranking up the ENGINE slider to 75+, which blasted you out of your own cockpit. I totally removed (uninstalled) My Traffic X 5.2b AS PER THE MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS---YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THAT TO THE LETTER, and then did a clean install of 5.3. I then ran A.E.A.E. again to tag the new 5.3 A.I.'s.I fired up FSX and was so happy to hear the ROAR of the A.I. jet engines around me and in front of me as I taxied behind a 737. The volume was independent of my cockpit/piston G.A.Was this part of the new 5.3, or was it the way that I installed everything again....don't now...but am lovin' the new experience. Forgetting the sound, 5.3 is LEAPS ahead of 5.2b. I'm sure that others who have it will chime in on that sentiment.Cheers!Mitch'er

-----------------------------------------------------------------------Hi Mad Dog,I liked MTX 5.2...but going to 5.3 is like going from FS98 right to FS2004/FSX. Truly. It makes FSX all the more realistic now...Mitch

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Nope....the models are more fully defined than 5.2b and are FSX SP2 compliant. Speaking about that...I now have traffic at 100 percent and was at taxi at CYYZ Toronto Pearson...with 32 FPS. With 5.2b, I had 18-22 FPS. 5.3 puts no hit on the system. There are major differences in the two series, looks and performance.Oh...and excited? Sure...for what I am seeing in the difference. I had both, and can do a A/B, no problem.Perhaps others that also have upgraded can give their personal opinion. Of course..that is what mine is, lol. I'm sure there are some that would not agree with my assessment. That is life.... :( Mitch

Paul..lol, it's no war, LOLOLOLOL!I'll just type that it is my personal opinion, that when having viewed and enjoyed the better quality visual models in 5.3 by running it....I am enjoying this version to the max. Das all' folks, LOL!Mitch

Doesn't that mean that every single gate is occupied? You get 32 FPS in which aircraft?

It means that whatever there is to put out into a gate...via flight schedules, it will be there. I have also moved my airport traffic (cars, tugs, trucks, etc) to medium. I was at taxi with the stock FSX 737-800 heading out to 15R.I also use CYYZ as my 'test bed' for it really taxes a system. v5.3 out performs 5.2b as less hard on system resources. You should contact the author as to what improvements is over 5.2b if interested. That will come from the horse's mouth, so to speak. I ran 5.2b at 50/50 I now run 5.3 at 100/50 for Commercial and G.A.Mitch

Hey, Bob! Yeah - I meant I bought the upgrade the day it was released. I used the old UT Traffic since day 1, and when the new version came out I bought it, but had so many problems with it I abandoned it then bought MTX4.2 - and was stunned!!! Suddenly I had traffic at all the small airfields - lots of traffic, so when 5.3 came out it was a no-brainer. Mitch and I have the same taste, but he's gat a bigger wallet!! :(
