Some days, I still have "the Luck..."Having made the decision to go to KOSH this year, I've been getting ready for the long drive.I went to the store for cigarettes, and just as I was pulling in the parking lot the lower ball joint on the right front sheared off... :(Thankfully I only live two blocks from the garage I normally use. The ironic thing is that I had planned to drop it off today anyway for a tune-up......had I not decided to go for cigarettes, I would have just gotten a tune up and had the ball joint break while on the road to Oshkosh! Yikes! Now whether I get to go depends of whether the garage can get my car fixed in time, and I still have any money left!

Ouch, I wish you luck and hope you get there safely.

That's probably the only time using cigarettes will be lucky and save you time and money :( Hopefully you will never have any health problems from smoking, but in the long run cigarettes will cause you more trouble and expense than what it will save you from.You should consider switching to smokeless tobacco at least to spare your heart and lungs.

Nope. "Fr." is the abbreviation for "Father" as in Reverend Father So-and-so. I am the founder of the Society of St. Gregory (SSG), but since I'm the founder I get to "make da rules..." :)The sad fact is that I had quit for nearly 26 years, but when my late brother's health began to seriously fail from liver cancer, I picked up the nasty habit again... :(

Well, the good news is that I got my car back this morning, and even got the a/c fixed while I was at it!I have to go now because I've booked a room at AmericInn in Waupun, WI for Sunday & Monday nights, have a confirmed mobility scooter reservation for Monday, and have already bought my Admission ticket......none of which is refundable. Well they wouldn't let me in today. Usually the public can go in the day before and watch the planes arrive. It sure would have been nice to know that BEFORE I drove there. :(
