November 3, 201015 yr I can't believe how much you guys (the lot of you) put effort into digging up release date "promises" and similarly defending something that might have been said, at some point. If it was up to me (disclaimer: I know it is not :)), I would just single handedly delete all posts discussing release date projections, broken / kept promises on release dates and just about everything that would move the "is it there yet" subject to one direction or the other. Why would I do such a thing? Because: None of this speculation matters when making a plane of this complexity. Many of the ideas that were valid a week ago, can be obsolete today. Any discussion on release dates / projected time-frames in the business of flight sim development on PMDG / Level-D etc. level are quite useless. If we're talking a lower level / complexity products, it's easier to make and keep promises, since the level of detail approached in those products doesn't raise questions in the same way the more detailed product development does. Anyone who's been involved in development or serious testing of an airliner product for FS knows that for each problem solved, you'll have 100 waiting for solution. To sum up: forget about the release date, don't ask about it, don't even discuss it... Be thankful that it takes time, that means they are working on it. When it's ready and up-to specification, you'll get a note of that probably on this forum, and on 100 other forums dealing with our hobby. Then you can pick it up from the store and enjoy :). Let's say you miss the initial release by 2 months... big deal. By that time you'll be able to read SP announcements and with any luck, one is already out. :)TeroTero,I could not help but notice your sig. Level D 757 beta team :( ....Hmmm I won't say anything. November 3, 201015 yr I think we as PMDG followers are spoilt, in this I mean we are to advantageous over our Developers , In some other Forums you'd be lucky to receive any reply from a developer never mind arguing with them.Continue PMDG when ever my favourite 737 flies I'm pretty sure we will be ready. :(

November 3, 201015 yr I never thought i'd say this, but it seems to me that the PMDG forums have joined the ranks of The Hills & Jersey Shore in terms of drama. MTV contract, anyone? Kristoff Ottar-Spencer

November 3, 201015 yr http://forum.avsim.n...date-announced/Hmmm.... So if I take that literally and perhaps over-analyse a little bit I can come to the conclusion that its either coming out this week or not until 2014! Or maybe he also meant the time in between those two dates... but I doubt it! Greg Hetherington

November 4, 201015 yr I've come to the conclusion not to sweat over too much for NGX.:( It will come......at some point in time.:( Kenneth M."PUP"Craddock IIPC: Alienware Aurora R4 Intel I7-3820.....As for the rest is classified http://pup4ordfsxmore.blogspot.com/

Or maybe he also meant the time in between those two dates... but I doubt it! I would like to take your analysis and expand on it a little further.Robert clearly stated:"It may release this week.. I might release in 2014." Now from this, "It", or better known as the NGX, may be released by the end of this first week of November, 2010 or "I", also known as Robert S. Randazzo, might release in 2014. Word for word on that second statement indicates RSR might indeed release himself in 2014. Two very interesting statements if you ask me. Hard to tell which one is actually true, but I am more keen to know whether the NGX is released anytime soon, rather than the Captain himself. PS: These are facetious remarks. Erik L.
November 4, 201015 yr Hello everyone,I was flying my VRS Superbug when all the sudden a question came to my mind:So how does the PMDG compared to... the VRS Superbug.I know it sounds weird but as it is a really good addon for FSX, I was asking myself what could be better using something from VRS?The answer is the night lightning of course! The superbug comes stock using lightning from A2A, and I think it would be awesome. It is much more enjoyable landing with thoses and I thought I could ask if someone ever thought of that before.I think it would be nice, and I would pay couple bucks more to get it as part of the package.Oh and I like every slides RSR posted since the beginning, can't wait to see and fly the final product.Cheers
