How long did it take you guys before your download link showed up in your store account? I bought the F-14 and in my shop account it shows that I prepaid it, but I have no link to download. I would like to at least get it before I buy the Christen Eagle.

Well, I had to use PayPal because the credit card site kept resetting the connection on me. I just now had the F-14 link made available, still waiting on the Christen Eagle (the owner needs to process PayPal payments manually).Did your credit card transaction complete without errors?

Yeah, the download link just appeared after an hour or so. So I am downloading now. Maybe the site was too busy or something and my order didn't update right away. Now that it working I will get the Christen Eagle as well and keep checking every day for the A-10 to go on sale for $5.

Spent about an hour or so flying the F-14 around and frankly am not that impressed with it, plus the canopy was way to dark for my taste and I don like all the texture fallbacks that take more time to load when switching views. For $5 its not a bad deal, but it doesn't seem that much better than some of the good freeware that's available. I would have been really disappointed if I had spent the normal $50 on it. Think I will uninstall it and go for the Christen Eagle instead since I like the Long Island version of it.

Does anyone own their DA42 Twinstar? I'd like to get it but need something with efficient FPS as my PC is dated. The default G1000 doesn't scare me too much but I was curious if someone had the Twinstar, and could compare it to default C172 (non G1000) VC for me?

Whilst not one of my all-time favourite aircraft, I could hardly say no to a nice F-14A for 5 bucks, so I bought that yesterday. I think they've done a pretty good job of it. The sounds are very realistic and atmospheric and the FPS it gets is great too.Not too keen on the canopy shading from the VC, but other than that the VC is really well done and extremely close to the real aircraft from what I know of the thing, although that admittedly is not a great deal, i.e. I know it served in the Vietnam War, and with the Iranians, was in the appallingly bad Top Gun movie and was later converted for use as a bomber when the F/A-18 took over the CAP role for the Navy, but that's about the extent of my knowledge LOL.I think I'd have been happy with it at full price if the F-14 was one of my personal favourites, since you do get an incredibly large number of paint schemes. A nice thing, especially at the price.Al
