Took the brand spankin new Katana from Darrington to Concrete just to check it out. Hope to get in a longer flight this weekend if work allows. I can't wait for school to be over, get moved, and start my new job. I want my FS time back! :(

I was checking out the new freeware Corben Baby Ace on Floats from Port McNeill Water Aerodrome (CAM8) to Port Hardy Water Aerodrome (CAW5). On arriving at CAW5 I had to wait for a departing de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver to takeoff. By the time I was able to land the Corben, the DHC-2 Beaver was already announcing final at CAM8. The Corben Baby Ace is definitely a low and S-L-O-W type!!Regards, Mike Mann

Flew again from KJFK to KBUF to test out the MegaScenery photosceneries for problems. None so far - FSX is still working well after approximately two hours of being in the sim. Currently flying KBUF - KORD. All with the LDS767, by the way.

Took both the Aerosoft UH-1D and the Nemeth UH-1H and C Hueys from VVTS Tan Son Nhat (aka Saigon) to the Parrot's Beak on the Cambodian border and back as an experiment working out lift capabilities and range with various loads and fuel on board in high humidity. This was so I could modify some wargaming stats to be as realistic as possible. Cue Ride of the Valkyries...Al

After that cue, Alan, my question is simple. Was there a surfboard attached to any of the Hueys? :PThe members of the "Apocalypse Now" self-help group really like to know.

Well, the Aerosoft one does have an Air Cav emblem on the tail, but since like Charlie, I don't surf either, thus in a Matrix paraphrase, 'there was no Spooner'Al

Took the LDS767 on another test flight: KORD-KSTL. I never knew KSTL was one of the "detailed" airports! Ya know, I'd find it nice if Aerosoft would do a US Cities X package for St. Louis.
