Whoever it was that said they thought the Playstation Network would be back up before the NGX was released is the big winner!!! Fox News.com is reporting that PSN has resumed limited operations this morning.Hiram Hunt

Be interesting to see who hangs in here after tomorrow when the other guys release their 737.I'll be here, because I want the quality of the PMDG product.Frank C

I will be here 2 hehe. From the vids of the PMDG 737 it looks fantastic and will be well worth waiting for. I will get both anyway because I buy most complex aircraft and the 737 is perfect for short flights.Looks like the "other guys" as you put it are going to win the race to release but I think PMDG will come through in the end with pure quality. As with, probably most enthusiast who love the 737, I have no problem with buying both. In fact I relish the idea. This is an exciting time. Previously FSX had NO options for real high quality payware 737s. I'm like a kid in a candy store! :(

A race would imply both products are of equal quality, which they're not. You're comparing a 2012 Lincoln towncar, still nice, to a Ferrari. Just not the same.

Who would ever think that lincoln is a good car? :-)

lol:) Both are good, its just a matter of taste...I quite like the ifly vc as it looks bright and less dull and dusty; I find the displays easier to read. I like the reflections on the pmdg vc, so its a bit of liking both products for different reasons. Anyways, this is pmdg's forums, so best to focus on their bird, both are good, and that's that!

i got the chance to do a tesflight of ifly's737 for FS9 but i don't really like it. Its climb performance isn't realistic and it doesn't have this dirty cockpit. Thevideos of PMDG's one we've seen so far are much better :) I will buy the NGX of PMDG :)

Alexander Marx

Well the other company doesn't make their product nearly as realistic as PMDG does. Besides isn't PMDG Boeing certified and not the other company?

Just because iFly isn't PMDG, doesn't mean it's a bad add on. I have heard some very positive reviews about the iFly 737 NGX.

Please do not slate other developers. They are doing their work to please all of us. It's not allowed on the IFLY forum and I am sure it's not allowed here either.

I agree that it's a great add-on but it's still incomparable to the NGX which in almost all aspects is one step ahead.

Didn't say the ifly is bad. But i don't like it :) Someone else may love it and the Reviews are all quiet well. But back to the NGX (PMDG's one ;) )

The other guys will be forced to charge less, and that is fine, it is the difference between a a Prius and a Corvette.Michael P.

I believe the PMDG guys will allow comments on competitive products as long as it's written in a non-flaming manner. Saying you prefer PMDG to xxxx (whichever other company you're talking about) is generally fine. Saying something like "xxx's version of the 737NGX is a total pile of ****" will likely be removed from the forum.
