Still not released?? I guess that PMDG release the NGX at 21 may 2011 maybe, because the b747 queens of the skies released at 21 may 2008. Maybe thats the reason they waiting I gonna cry if it release at 21 may 2011 :(

Yes, I agree with Tero. At the moment I pay 230 US dollars to fly 60 minutes with C172 (year 2002) and it hasn't got even a G1000! But I'm not whining because every hobby costs you some money - my does a bit more than a typical one I guess.When it comes to the price of NGX - 150 dollars isn't much when you compare it to flying a real thing - or flying a Cessna. Let's make a calculation: I fly the NGX for 500 hours in a year with my computer. That costs me the price of the product, let's say it would be 150 dollars even if it wouldn't. Then I get monthly a bill from the local electric power supplier. If my computer was on for, let's say, 1000 hours it still wouldn't cost me much. I don't have that much of interest to calculate how much that would be right now. So, for some 300 dollars I would get to fly 500 hours with very realistic (?) 737 simulation.Then, let's calculate the cost of 500 hours with C172 in Finland. Yes.... you calculated it right. 115 000 dollars.Now, yes the cost of flying with NGX doesn't include your new shiny computer, scenery addons, etc, etc... But the real PPL is also money.So tell me, why do you make such a big deal about the price if you don't even know it yet. If you use the NGX a lot, 150 dollars isn't just a lot... It's very understandable after all effort and man hours given to the product.Just my few cents.Aleksi Lindén

I agree and even think that it actually should be up to 200$ for such a product! We all just look at it as a "game" and we are used to buy games for like 90$ or so. That's why seeing 150$ doesn't add up for us. But thinking and reading about it, the post above makes sense, 150$ is nothing for a product like this!

Of course not. It will follow the traditional American way of making everything dollars and 99 cents. $149.99 (Joking by the way, they said the release price would be competitive for the market, as well as similar to previous products)

I hope it comes earlier, but the 10th of June would be a nice day for relase as its a friday and my 25th birthday... :)

16th june, results of the final exmans. Would be amazing to hear that I've passed it and that also the 737NGX has been released :(

so 16th is really the date??? I thought people were making stuff up there but wow, I couldnt imagine this. Well done PMDG! Lets cross our fingers that the ngx passes its exams and I do, its exam week for me

Thirdly, with my second item (Above) in mind, I believe that we will be announcing the estimated release date a day or two AFTER our wider beta team sees the NGX... I do not make a habit of projecting such dates until we have reached some very specific mile-markers, and it is looking like we are going to reach those markers in the next five days or so.
