May 25, 201115 yr That is an indication of the highest and lowest terrain elevations currently displayed (in 100s of feet above MSL) so in this case, the highest elevation displayed is 1,700 feet MSL, and the lowest is 0.If you increase the range from where 20nm the highest point might be 2000ft and them you want to look out to 40nm and the highest point is 3000ft, will the yellow number then change from 020 to 030, or is the number the highest point of terrain out as far as the radar will go? May 27, 201115 yr You can download a high resolution copy HERE I'm really disappointed in the outstanding amazing quality of your virtual cockpit Mr Vin. I demand 10 screenshots in various lighting schemes and at various angles for us to accurately gauge your choice in colour palettes (PS please include various virtual possible release dates in your detailed response please) Randy J Smith
May 27, 201115 yr Commercial Member IIRC, on the real 737 you can't display TER and WXR simultaneously. Standard procedure would be to have one pilot in TER with the other on WXR.PF would select Terrain display for takeoff/climb/descent and can switch it off if he desires once clear of terrain.Best regards,Robin.
May 29, 201115 yr Not super exciting but I've posted a video of the HUD view transitioning from climb to cruise for anyone interested. TB

May 30, 201115 yr Hmm, all this talk has got me wanting to hop back into the 744. I haven't flown it in about 2 months because of the 16-18hr days I've been working...OK, that settles it, I'm now going offline for a few hours to make a quick little KDFW-KLAS hop.
