Climb a steep ascent out of the valley at Innsbruck and then start a steep descent from 17,000 into the valley for the approach to Sion. Use charts and try it in the dark without the HUD. You will use every pilot skill you have and your andrenaline will be pumping all the way. It is about an hour flight.

I just did this flight. IGS RWY 25 approach into LSGS. I couldn't get the ISI 108.35 offset LOC to come up at all. I had to use the SIO VOR without glidescope guidance on a 6 degree approach descent from 16000' down to 3000' was an awesome approach. Will definitely be doing this one again!

my is Munich (EDDM) to Hamburg ( EDDH) also Aerosoft

Despite not having what most would call a weak system, I'm having major issues running this addon and couldn't dream of flying it in the LAX area! The NGX on my system makes the PMDG 747 look frame rate friendly.

Did you try running the 747 first then switching to the NGX? It may get you a tremendous FPS increase.

Let's jump right in, my favorite route is KLAX->KLAS. Short 48min flight via LOOP6 DAG KEPEC2. Great scenery from takeoff to landing also with additional add-ons. -Henrik C.

Just flew that route...indeed very nice! Nice scenery and at least for me, very framerate friendly! But I don´t have any addons for that region, just FSGlobal 2010.

I use the Aerosoft Innsbruck Scenery for LOWI which is awesome even has some trains going through the mountain. Don't have anything for Sion although I do Have Ground Environment X and Ultimate Terrain X for Europe as well as FS Global 2010 for Mesh.

EGKK - LGAV, Its a little long but the FlyTamp LGAV is stunning. Ive also just found some nice freeware at www.lhsimulations.hu so i can fly soem tasty Malev (Livery looks awesom on teh 738) routes.

There is scenery for SION and the whole region - makes it immense - and like the OP said one hell of a test of your skills!

Flying LOWI to LSZH and vica versa at the moment. Really getting into flying in and out of LOWI, although it's not easy and I often make a mess of it! Gonna have to get the Sion addon as well.

I like KSFO to KLAX, because of the nice scenery (Ultimate scenery and FS Scene), and there are mountains just before LAX, and the approach requires a sharp turn (over 90 degrees) just before the final approach. I don't usually use ATC, and the last time another plane was taking off in the opposite direction. Henri

For the heavies I like CYYC- PANC and PANC CYZF for the great scenery, the latter in late afternoonfor the sunset effects.
