Thanks Sean will have a look and report back ;-)
BTW, that was with REX Bright 2 sky set for spring/summer sky. In the fall/winter I use REX Hawaii day set with the same Bloom setting. Looks about right for my neck of the woods since there isn't as much moisture in the air and the sky looks more blue. [bLOOM]BloomPowerDay=5 //5 with Hawaii sky - 9 with desert - 5 with bright2 - 6 with vibrant day or exact - 4 vivid The numbers and name in the Bloom are refering to which number I use with those sky sets. POST EDIT:André, forgot to mention that I had [GLOBAL]UseEffect=0set to 0 rather than 1 so you'll have to hit F12 to turn it on. I used to leave it set at 1 but when I use the NGX it flashes the screen when it runs thru the loading process, so set it to off while it does than then turn it on after it loads.

can anyone compare this to enb? I'd like to see how they compare.

I wanted to give this a go, but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. Back to ENB I guess.

I didn't read the entire thread, but saw someone ask if this worked with ATI cards.....Well I have an Imac (Running windows 7 32 bit native on boot camp) with an ATI Radeon HD4670 Mobility card and it did not crash FSX. I went as far as the menu screen and I wasn't thrilled with the effect I saw in the aircraft preview screen, so I closed FSX. I'm sure I need to play with the settings to get a look what I want, but I assume FSX will run just fine with this and the ATI cards if that helps the poster who had asked. :) I figured what the heck, give it a shot. The worst thing that would happen would be a crash, and it did not. Have a good night. Getting ready for Irene, so I thought I'd better post tonight because tomorrow night at this time, she will be upon us here. Best regards, Jeff

Couple of before and after pics as requesetd 1 = before2 = after3 = before4 = after spent about 30 mins playing with settings to get this, not quite what I want yet!
Do you use Shader 3 ?

That happened to me too. I solved it by disabling AA in the display settings menu of FSX

Hi DavidPAUSE key does indeed stop the sim, but it also toggles the effect on or off.You should notice a difference in appearance by prssing PAUSE repeatadly, if not then the effect is not working.Example you are running the sim with the effect on. If you press the PAUSE key this would pause the sim and turn the effect off. If you then press P this will unpause the sim and you would continue with the effect off.I.e. PAUSE performs 2 functions pause and toggle effectP can be used instead of PAUSE to continue. Hope that makes sense

Thanks Keith,It indeed makes sense. But the thing is that pressing the Pause key doesn't toggle the effect! So I assume there is something wrong with some files on my computer.I'll check that and report.

I really like this tool because one can adjust the settings on the fly.The ini file is also very clear and easy to customize. For the moment I am playing with the settings while in the FREE FLIGHT welcome page with the turning default aircraft.Save the changes on the notepad file, press Pause again and voilà! Difficult yet to compare it with the ENB.Thanks again, nice find! :--)

Sean, let me tell you from those pics that you got a quite close representation of reallity!! Specially the last 3!! I'm gonna try with your config and from there, tweak the ini file until i get something really close to that!!Congrats again!! Ignacio Big Grin.gif

Do you have to get rid of your nivida inspector profile with this new FXAA mode or do you use both at the same time. Bryan

Did anyone with multiple monitors get it to run on the main screen instead of only the extended ones?I'm not too keen in having my FMC touchscreen use some cool bloom effects and stuff sad.pngIt's the same with ENB.
