Making Waypoints (Tutorial)

Recommended Posts

Hi Ray ! That is easy to do Ray. Go to the FIX page in the CDU.Type the name of the place where you want that green circleand in the line below it enter /10 for a 10 mile radius circle. don't forget the "slash"...../ before the number. /15 for 15 miles etc.
Too easy. Embarrassing. I was trying to do it on the LEGS page. duh. Ray

Fred, is it possible to enter "conditional" waypoints, e.g., fly hdg til reaching a given altitude, as in constructing a departure procedure?. These are possible in the LEVEL D 767 but I find no mention of them in any of the NG manuals. Nor have I seen this capability in any of the other commercial simulation products. Does it exist, however, in the RW?

No ! Conditional waypoints are part of sids, stars and approaches and cannot be entered manually !! Fred.
