September 26, 201114 yr Why do all you guys insist on doing full reinstalls. Why dont you just create an image of your flight sim drive using Acronis Home, and then if something goes fubar just remount your saved working image. My fsx drive and c drive get backed up each week on a set schedule. Seemples. Wycliffe

September 26, 201114 yr Not everyone uses a separate hard drive for fsxThought that everyone would have back up there hard drive just in case if it crashes. As for me iam using acronis and have back up my 2 hard drives to a seperate external hard drive. September 26, 201114 yr Thanks PMDG for your effort but it worked the other way around for me. Everything went fine until after installing the hotfix. FSX started normally but crashed after a while even when flying a Cesna. Error Message: PMDG-737NGX.dll unloaded. After a restore from backup the problem was solved. My fsx drive and c drive get backed up each week on a set schedule. Seemples. Wycliffe I've tried that once or twice. Had several problems with it though. Registry problems, missing DLL's and even a corrupt image file. It's probably just me not doing it right. I've given up...Maybe when I've finished with my current reinstall, I'll try again to make an image. I have O&O DiskImage for that. Version 4 I believe... Regards, Frank van der Werff
September 26, 201114 yr I agree with the previous posts: 1. Terrain mode displayed on F/O side. Looks great! 2. Lag and freeze if switching from windowed to full screen display (or vice versa) - fixed. 3. The fonts used in radio panel looked a bit different (smaller and closer). Every hotfix released improves the NGX for the better (for my case). Keep up the good work PMDG! Roy Joven T. September 26, 201114 yr Same her. 2987 on them all. Thanks for the update. Can't wait for the 600. I may be only one, but the 600 is my favorite. haha. You're not the only one waiting for the -600. I need something for the short-haul domestic hops. Dave P. Woycek
September 26, 201114 yr 777..........................one word, wow!Please update your development schedule page.http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a54/pmdg-development-schedule.aspx
September 26, 201114 yr Commercial Member Sorry if this is obvious, however does the latest hotfix contain all previous hotfixes or do you need to install them individually? Hotfix 4 is all-inclusive. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
September 26, 201114 yr Why don't you guys perform a real poll, I believe that feature is available in AVSIM's forums? That way you would get real numbers backing up your cause. There were tons of polls about this topic in the past, normally they get erased. So why should i waste my time on this anymore? I have placed that i find 2D still useful, there is nothing more i can do as customer. Maybe i should ask VC users to show more solidarity with the needs of other customers then acting selfish? What would happen if VC will be in the line for dropping?
September 26, 201114 yr Sorry if you found my post to be selfish, that was in no way my intention anyway and believe me I feel for all you 2D guys whatever your reasons are to prefer 2D.Thought a poll would be a good thing because that way the real numbers would show and if PMDG finds that there is still a great amount of people that prefer 2D maybe that would give them a reason to rethink instead of risk loosing customers.
September 26, 201114 yr What are the chances of you doing a BBJ? Michael Pare, EXTREME B737NG FANATIC.
September 26, 201114 yr Installed the latest hotfix and haven't had any new issues. Seems that performance is a bit better, but other than that can't say I have noticed much of a difference. Still issues with a sever frame rate drop when active sky is updating using Standard depiction (Direct causes the aircraft to go way off course). Hopefully will see something in SP1. Other than that, the 737NGX is a pleasure to fly. VATSIM: P2 | I1
