As always, I appreciate the update as I am sure many people do. I am disappointed that the outlook has changed again, but I am sure that it won't matter two weeks from now when everybody is enjoying the 600/700 expansion pack. I am still looking forward to seeing the release of this expansion pack.

Don't need SP1 since HF4 fixed my cockpit freezing after landing.Of course, with my luck it'll start again. Oh, and that "simulating Boeing and their delays" comment was funny!

I wonder at what point you will learn not to give dates that never happen and just give updates on progress? would be much better that way from a customers pov. Just a thought .

Hello Shannon, I've had excellent input from PMDG and they discovered numerous issues and conflicts, but at the end of the day NGX CTD problems have been ongoing so I decided to wait until SP1 and have uninstalled the NGX altogether for the time being. Hi Bruce I suppose it would be frustrating to keep trying as I wanted to see if I could help given my perception of the similar systems we have. Well I hope your patience holds out. J41 is a great product but NGX will blow you away, so I am holding thumbs for you as I can imagine how you are feeling. RegardsShannon

Like most people before me said, take your time. For one thing, I don't even have the hardware to run the NGX properly yet. And I wouldn't want my NGX to fall out of the sky, killing the virtual passengers and crew, due to a rushed fix! Imagine the virtual lawsuits!!!

Well in my opinion if i had to wait the same time scale as the original base pack i'd be happy because come on lets face it it's a fantastic addon...

Because knowing that most people are fine with a delay reduces the psychological pressure even if the intent is not to rush it regardless.

From the updates we get from PMDG, it's quite obvious that they "feel" or at least acknowledge the types of comments being posted here. Seeing numerous comments that encourage them to take their time and get it right will have a positive effect on the developers and quality of the product. It's basic human psychology (as mentioned by Jigsaw in the previous comment). On that note, I'm totally fine with PMDG taking as much time as they need to get their releases in order. I'm enjoying the NGX as it is currently.

Couldn't disagree more. Having something to keep our sights on is very helpful, even if occasionally the ball rolls away a little further. Much better than sitting wondering if there's even something on the way, and whether it'll be available in six days or six months...
