October 13, 201114 yr I'm not in a rush for a SP. It'll come when it's ready. I'm keeping myself busy with other things. Jeff Thomson
October 13, 201114 yr I really hate to sound like a broken record, but we're coming up on the 2 week mark and you haven't kept us posted. Why are you guys so bad at following through with providing information? It's not like it was before release and everyone was just impatient to get their hands on it.Now, some of us have a product that freezes or CTDs and we're left wondering when it will get fixed. You guys make great products, but your inability to do what you say you will really puts a ding in your communicative credibility.Just my 2 cents as a concerned and frustrated paying customer who can't use my product without it freezing. AJ, you've spoken well. I, and many others, have pointed this out in the past, and feedback such as this usually meets with a degree of snark from PDMG. I actually understand this too, the guys that talk to us are the guys who are in the trenches and are pouring blood, sweat, and tears into the endeavor. They are near and dear to the product and will, accordingly and understandably, be precious about things. These are NOT the guys who should make most communications, it should be someone whose job it is to promote goodwill and timely communications with the community. Some would call this function "public relations." Of course, the last time I mentioned this word, one of PMDG's alpha testers got very testy on the issue, so I dropped it. It is disingenuous to mention dates and then talk about "but that'll change, so no promises." However, if you've been around the PMDG block, this is fairly par for the course. It is also par that their quality will be unmet, completely, in the remainder of the market. It is also par that they will eventually fix the product to a highly durable standard such that you will enjoy it for a long time to come. And, lastly, it is also par that you can count on PMDG to innovate and lead the pack. So, this communication problem is the blemish on what is, altogether, an incredible contribution to the art and craft of our hobby. WHICH... is why they should get a PR person - I think their sales probably warrant it. They are "big league" enough to at least consider it. October 13, 201114 yr Arguing on these forums is akin to wrestling a pig in the mud, after a while you realize the pig likes it.So true, Also remember that "Trip7cap" is APongr. The legendary super-negative complainer from development. There is no point arguing with these people, you will never win, they will continue coming back with the same selfish and negative points, without considering the big picture of what is going on. It is best to ignore these people.

October 13, 201114 yr Very well said but looking in the rear mirror I honestly doubt this will ever change.
October 13, 201114 yr I still think there one very simple thing PMDG could do to help alleviate some of this hostility and did do before, is put the bug tracking thread back up. Showing what they are aware on, what is fixed already for the next sp, and what they are still working on. That way people can see progress of sp, not keep posting about same bugs, see if they should submit a ticket about something new the found that isn't on the list. Or see if actually the bug is with their own system not with the 737, and they can seek advice then on forum to solve that. Regards James Carr
October 13, 201114 yr I just have to tell that PMDG is a better informant than Level-D. They think that one update every 2 years is too much... Manfred G. Ships are cooler that you think.
October 13, 201114 yr Before "crapping" all over PMDG you might want to consider:My FSX was 2 years old on a rig constantly upgraded and God knows how many bottlenecking points. The Sim itself had countles number of add-ons installed and removed and obviously huge amout of software "scrap" remaining within its folders. When I installed the NGX (RC) I was flying it almost flawessly with only occassional freeze. There was no cure for it...I took a radical approach and did a major system overhaul. Fresh FSX with only "must have" addons, and ofcourse updated W7 with all latest drivers. Now the NGX (HF4) runs perfect.Bottom line - instead of whining for SP being released from PMDG, invest some money and time and do a SP on your system. Regards, Martin Martinov / VATSIM 1207931

October 13, 201114 yr The legendary super-negative complainer from development....they will continue coming back with the same selfish and negative points Legendary? I had complaints about PMDG's communication issues back in development just like a LOT of other people did.I can't count the number of times they told us something and it fell through. Someone else said it best a few posts earlier; PMDG really needs a dedicated PR rep. After spending 18 hours a day coding a piece of software and ending up tired and irritable, you're the last person that should be handling customer issues. I also find it hilarious that after I paid $80 for something that doesn't work properly, it's selfish for me to want them to FIX IT?Selfish?!If I'm the legendary complainer, you're the legendary brown noser. Bottom line - instead of whining for SP being released from PMDG, invest some money and time and do a SP on your system. I already invested money. I invested it in PMDG for a product that I expected to fully work. Now you're saying I have to spend even more money to get it to work right? I am so, so glad that you and the other guy I replied to don't work for PMDG.I would never buy another product of theirs if you did. AJ Pongress

The donkey is strong and can pull very heavy loads. The man decides to harness the donkey up with a full load. Now the man decides to put him on a sheet of ice and make him start pulling. Picture yourself as the man, the ngx the donkey and your computer is the ice. It's user error.. not PMDG error. Don't blame the merchant ;) The donkey needs a solid base to "push" off of. Not something "unstable."
