I've just begun to fly this one -- my specs are Quad Core 9550 o'c to 3.8, 4 GB DDR2 RAM, GeF 275 GTX, FSX-Accel in Win7 64-bit (I start building a i5 2500K system next month...Big%20Grin.gif ). Frames are very smooth for me, certainly better than the NGX, which runs OK on my system. I am gentle with the level of AI, traffic, and autogen, but the landscape isn't stripped either. Tentatively, I'd say that the CJ1+ is one of the easier payware planes on my framerates....much better than the Flight1 Mustang, one of my favorites. Still learning the ins and outs of the Universal FMS, but this CJ1+ handflies very nicely...even without FADEC, it's easy to control thrust and thus maintain desired airspeed...these jet engines are very responsive both up and down. The graphics and eyecandy are nicely done for the most part, although the VC's Interior Lighting panel and the Annunciator panel are a bit hard to read; however, they both have a 2-D pop-up panel that is much clearer. Again, I'm just getting started with this one, but I think I'm going to like it a lot.

Thanks Wayne,I like the VC..The only thing that doesn't look so great is that brown vertical "bar". Looks like cardboard.Maybe it's my monitor tho..

Full Authority Digital Engine Control. Google the term for a better understanding than we can provide here.Note that it is not an "Auto Throttle"... No idea why you are experiencing "jerky" flight displays but we can assist in our support forums.Note: We do not offer product support at Avsim forums.

Nouthing in this universe is going to perform worse than the NGX, framerate wise! Not a very good comparison. If it were myself, I would compare it to the CitationX!
Or just have a look at Rudi's post upthread regarding performance on less than ideal hardware...mellow.png

Ron, I assume this has a full 2D cockpit? I ask because I dont see it mentioned on the feature list but I know you have said in the past it is included.

Offtopic rant on:Quite the opposite here. The NGX performs much better than many other planes I have.Offtopic rant off.

I disagree completely. On my machine, the NGX gets higher framerates than the Concorde-X, PMDG 747, and Captain Sim 767.

Both wide-screen (16:10) and regular (4:3) 2d panels are included.
