November 4, 201114 yr Same here, have not had this happen before SP1, but now the plane draws itself from skeleton upwards when switching views. Takes about 1-2 seconds. Oliver Donner
November 4, 201114 yr I also get it, didn't occur before SP1 Jude BradleyBeech Baron: Uh, Tower, verify you want me to taxi in front of the 747?ATC: Yeah, it's OK. He's not hungry. November 4, 201114 yr +1 I get this issue after updating to sp1 and I've never had it before, I can confirm that I do get the skeleton plane then the sound starts coming on and off and occasionally I get ctd if I'm change views, I was doing a westjet flight from cyyz to las Vegas worked ok during the cruise but 2 mins after I start descent crash! 4 hours wasted! November 4, 201114 yr Same for me. Always in the tail section for a few seconds or less. But nothing bothers me. The important thing is that the flight is superb. Best regards Cristiano Mueller
November 4, 201114 yr I will test it now and see what I get with SP1 and -600. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
November 4, 201114 yr Hey guys, I thought this was just me. Sure, we all understand the reasons behind why heavy texures take longer to load on less capable machines and loading time lessens with the high end rigs, but talking from a personal point of view, I don't understand why, after installing SP1 the 800 external textures are taking about four second to load!! Prior to the upgrade there was a slight delay, maybe half a second or a second at most, but four seconds?? Now we are not talking about a new scenario, this is a one to one comparison, using the same paramaters that I use in all my comparison tests. Now I know that I may well be out on a limb here, but also my framerates during this test scenario have dropped from 25 in the VC to about 21/22 ??? I'm unsure how this can happen or why it has happened, the only thing I can think of is that I did not undertake a clean uninstall/reinstall. Maybe this has something to do with the drastically slow loading of textures...? November 4, 201114 yr I observed this behavior after some minutes in main screen of FSX. It is not a hardware problem. I have this problem with i7, 8gb Ram and GTX 580. Definitely, IT IS A BUG!I already use HighMemFix= 1, HiMemFix = 1 and BOTH but the result was the same. November 4, 201114 yr I will test it now and see what I get with SP1 and -600.I tested the iFly737NG -600 (Janet) and PMDG737NGX -600.Both do the same thing.Going from VC to external it somtimes is so fast I cannot notice it.Other times it redraws the scenery and the whole aircraft quickly.Going from external to VC it redraws the entire VC panel.****My wIN7-64 PC specs550W power supplyMotherboard : Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3Realtek audioIntel Core i7 2600 3.4 GHzWin7-64 Home Premium16GB RAMTwo 1TB hard drivesViewsonic, 2 monitorsVX2250WM-LED1920x1080 and 1024x768NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GBDriver 8.17.12.8026DirectX 11 Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

November 4, 201114 yr I think it is just the complexity of the plane and all the resources it uses. It's actually no different than if you go back to the desktop from windowed mode and multitask and come back and all your clouds start redrawing again. It takes time to load things. You can't compare it to any of the previous PMDG planes because none of them are as complex or use as many resources as the NGX does. Paul Deemer

November 4, 201114 yr I can compare it to what was occurring prior to SP1. :) It was not happening. It may be new to you but it was happening to me and many others before SP1 so it is not something that just started happening in SP1. That fact that it did not get fixed in SP1 leads me to believe that there is no fix. Just gonna have to live with it I guess. Since not everyone experiences the problem it could be related to how much your pushing your system, ie lots of addons vs minimal addons. Paul Deemer
