January 19, 201214 yr Author Right am looking at the landing announcement now. What we may have to do for the time being until we get the FS2CREW is this..As the aircraft no smoking sign is automatically set to auto we don't need to touch this.. But on the other hand the seatbelt sign is available. So in order for this to work i wil have to make the take off announcement run from the seatbelt sign.. and the attend button work for the landing.. so just before take off or leaving the appron. trigger the seatbelt sign wswitch this will play the cabing crew take your setas etc . and on the last 10 mins before landing trigger the attend button... what you guys think worth a shot, just some fun until FS2CREW GETS HERE... February 5, 201214 yr Author Just an update guys.... ** While i have not been doing much in this thread for a while i have been looking into 3D GPWS sounds. A few members have asked me about this and it is possible with the software i currently own.Mean while i will be throwing up a few updated versions of previous sounds i have edited...* GND Roll with be re-uploaded with slight bass increase to give it more of a feel of heavy weight* over the next couple of weeks i will start previewing the 3D GPWS Set/./Previously i did say that i have tried to create a panel for call outs like cabin crew i have managed to succeed with that but with the FS2CREW only around the corner i really don't think we need it lets just wait for Bryans work of art. pro stuff...Regards Steve Edited February 5, 201214 yr by Steve Inwood
February 5, 201214 yr First, thanks for the hard work on the sounds. Much appreciated.I'm experiencing a problem with the nosewheel groundroll sound. Every now and then the sound continues after takeoff, sometimes during the whole flight. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the enhancements, but does anybody knows the cause of this problem ? Regards, Joost de Wit

I get it but not if i exit FSX first..

Every now and then the sound continues after takeoff, sometimes during the whole flight. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the enhancements, but does anybody knows the cause of this problem ?If you're using FSRecorder, it tends to loop the nosewheel sound continuously in replay mode. I don't know if you're using that addon, but I thought I'd throw that out there. Curt Branch
February 6, 201214 yr Steve, concerning the ground roll rattle and thump sounds, could it be possible to increase their volume? They hardly hear on my computer. About the thumps on centerline lights during takeoff, they start being heard at about 120 knots, is it possible to hear them louder even at lower speeds? Thanks. James Goggi
February 6, 201214 yr Author Steve, concerning the ground roll rattle and thump sounds, could it be possible to increase their volume? They hardly hear on my computer. About the thumps on centerline lights during takeoff, they start being heard at about 120 knots, is it possible to hear them louder even at lower speeds? Thanks.Basically there are two sounds that control this one is the GND which is the steady sound for the taxi roll thumps. This is heard at around 10knots onwards. The other is the Ground Nose Wheel Sound. this is heard at around 70knots onwards.. which is the way that PMDG did it . so as your bombing down the runway after 70 knots you will start to hear this play and vise versa onslowing down on landing. I will take alook into it when i get chance my friend. Edited February 6, 201214 yr by Steve Inwood
February 6, 201214 yr Author Looking into it now guys infact might get something uploaded in the new few days. I'm trying to make these sound even more realistic. I have lowered the sounds to give an impression of realism. Edited February 6, 201214 yr by Steve Inwood
February 6, 201214 yr Looking into it now guys infact might get something uploaded in the new few days. I'm trying to make these sound even more realistic. I have lowered the sounds to give an impression of realism.Thank you very much, Steve! How do I get rid of the centerline sounds? I'd like to keep the aes centerline sounds but use everything else in your sound package.I wanted to keep the AES sound, too, but at the end I kept that from Steve, since it's much more realistic. The AES sound is a kind of rattle, while the real sound is a thump. The only thing is that the volume should be increased a bit, I remember hearing it quite loud in the real aircraft during takeoff/landing roll. James Goggi
