Thanks for the info, Terrence. Looking forward to a release since a nice DC-9 is missing in my hangar so far.

Read this today on the Coolsky site:"We're not going to be able to release before Christmas unfortunately. We wanted to have it ready in time for the holidays, but the sheer volume of parts in the VC and the level of detail that McPhat puts into their textures - it takes time. I guess we underestimated that part a little bit. I don't want to give out any release dates, but right now we're hoping to release in the first quarter of next year."Better to do it right the first time.... I just hate when somebody releases a halfway product(like Airsimmer) so I don't mind waiting for it a little bit longer, It will certainly be worth it:)))

Kind regards

I can't agree more on this.I'd rather see things done when they are done and ready for release as opposed to products being rushed and flawed. It seems like it would be very difficult to recover from a bad release since others could easily capitalize on forums full of complaints.

Please tell me it has system depth to the same degree that the LeonardoSH Maddog has....

It won't, I'm sure of that. The Leonardo Maddog goes as far as to model the functioning of individual circuit breakers. Even the PMDG NGX doesn't have that. For the rest, I'm sure it will model every system faithfully.

Can anyone tell me if THIS DC-9 will be outfitted with a modern-day FMC or is it ALL just Analog?

All analog. if you want modern FMC you better get the Super 80 Pro.

Great heads up! I had nearly forgotten about Coolsky. The DC-Nine-o-saurus has always interested me. The Fly the Maddog MD-80s being my favorite FS9 A/C. Apparently I had missed this post.

Mine for fs9 was DA F70/100, this dc-9's VC is going to be fantastic!, with the help of McPath :(
Any chance of getting a freighter version? Ameristar, USA Jet, Kalitta Charters, Everts, a few other operators of different freighter variants.
Thats what Espen (the developer)" said "A cargo version is definitely on the table, but we haven't made a firm decision on make one just yet. The cargo version of the DC-9 was used by a lot of carriers around the world and was a popular freighter so I would certainly like to see one myself. smile.gif"

Some more screen-shots from McPhat : http://www.mcphatstu...atid=8&id=27474The release is planned for during Q1 :(, soon we will be able to enjoy the DC-9 :(
I am glad to see that we now have some developers making older aircraft. PMDG, A2A, and now Coolsky. I'd be interested to see if this trend will continue.

That was my thought.
