January 3, 201214 yr I would have to disagree, the IFLY package, including all variations of the Ng is 15 dollars cheaper than the 700/800 PMDG. Plus, the quality is slightly less than the PMDG.Exactly it is only $15 cheaper. The sound pack alone in the NGX is worth more then that. If your happy with the Ifly then that is all that matters. Thats what is great about this hobby right now is all the great addons to choose from. Matt Wilson
January 3, 201214 yr Some real interesting and odd choices listed so far.I think the most used in 2011 for me was the IRIS Texan II for a single engine and for a twin, the year started with the Twotter and Catalina as favorites and ended with the Carenado 337 Turbo. For the airliner it started with the MD11 and ended with the PMDG 737NGX. I only got my first payware helos around Christmas so I haven't had time to get the feel for which one I like better the Huey or the AW109, both very different. The least used and most disappointed for me is the ORBX Lancair and REX. I don't use either.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

January 3, 201214 yr The beautiful Lancair from here http://fullterrain.c...ct_lancair.html The least used and most disappointed for me is the ORBX LancairLOL Which comes to show you shouldn't rely completely on what other people say... :( (Except when it comes to the RV-7a I mentioned... B) :( )BTW I see blimsempie also voted for the Lancair as a disappointing one and I would like to add my vote to that too. Not because it's from Orbx btw but simply because the view outside of the VC is awfull. I still don't understand why a company who focuses on scenery released a plane that blocks most of that scenery. And this shows there are various reasons why people love or hate a plane! Almost everybody loves the Duke but I don't because I can't look down out of the window... simple as that! Some like RealAir planes for their clean look and others hate them because of the same clean look. Some don't care at ALL about looks and only care about deep systems... So if someone recommends a plane, always try to find out WHY exactly. :(NGX, REX, ASE, ORBX.... :DHm, never heard of the planes called REX, ASE and ORBX... Edited January 3, 201214 yr by J van E
January 3, 201214 yr Carenado 337 SkyMaster....hands down! Also the aging but still fun Aerosoft DH-6 Twin Otter.I'm not much of a one for traditional big airliners (prop or jet) beyond the F1 ATR72-500 (well-aged at this point and in dire need of an update); however, my current review project has major grin and enjoyment factor. Stay tuned :( AVSIM Staff ReviewerBush Is Good!

January 3, 201214 yr Since I got the NGX, I fly nothing else than that. The Carenado C337H and both Dukes are my GA favourites. (null) Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
January 3, 201214 yr OK, Bert - here's my huge "most-wanted-to fly" list:-Tubes - only one - the Leo Maddog. The rest:-At this moment - probably Rick Piper's Chipmunk, as the FDE Meister - Bernt Stolle did a new FDE: #2 would be the SibWings BirdDog, and then a toss-up between the Milviz Cessna 310, because of it's "Oh - crap, I'm getting tooooo slow" dangerous slow-flyight "feel", and the BN Islander, for its great VC and the sound -- those engines..Up there:-The IRIS Christen Eagle:Aerosoft's PBYCarenado's Cessna 152 IIHappy New Year! January 3, 201214 yr I love the PMDG MD-11, the IRIS Warthog and the great A2A Piper Cub as well as Thomas Ruth's freeware planes. When it comes to choppers, the Aerosoft Huey and Seahawk are my favorites. Florian
