REX would be your next big step. FTX is good for people who like GA aircraft, but I prefer the jets.

PMDG NGX, RealAir turbine duke. I have many more but they just cant compare to these.

I was flight sim virgin until mid-2011...then I got the bug and now my hanger is full and my wallet empty.:(So - my favourite aircraft:1) PMDG 737 NGX - just incredible. I wasn't in to heavy metal until I got swept up in the enthusiasm for this thing and bought it. I have so much to learn still, but just sitting in the cockpit at the gate and looking around is a pleasure in this plane.2) Real Air Turbine Duke - Beautifully modelled, exhilarating performance and the perfect all-rounder for both challenging VFR and IFR flights.3) Lionheart Kodiak - my favourite low-and-slow. So easy to fly you can almost let it do its own thing whilst you check out the ORBX landscapes...4) Carenado Ct210M Centurion - cut my teeth on this beauty, an early purchase in my Flight Sim career. Perfect blend of new and old.5) Aerosoft Twotter - This one is showing its age in the VC, but there is just something about it that keeps me coming back. Pulled off some of the best landings of my "career" in this thing.6) Flight One Citation Mustang - another wonderful VC and model. This thing is slick, smooth and fast, like flying a Mercedes S class.I have plenty of others, but these are the ones I seem to knock up the most time in.

Cheers!

Bay Tower's RV-7a. That's all I need for flying in PNW. And whenever I want fly a big plane, I take the PMDG 737NGX for a spin. But usually, after one or two flights, I am back to the RV-7a. I have to add that a few weeks ago I would have posted 'Katana 4x' instead of 'RV- 7a' in the sentences above, but the RV-7a has everything I've been looking for for quite some time, so... The RV-7a is THE plane for me right now! :(

My favourite aircraft would have to be:1. Ifly 737: Good enough and in my opinion, a better value than PMDG2. Wilco Airbus: Both volumes 1 and 2 are sensational, very realistic!3. Captain Sim 757: Good, but too outdated for my tastes

The PMDG NGX is prolly the best value for an fsx aircraft.

Impossible to pick my most used aircraft, but it's a close tie between RealAir Turbine Duke and Orbx Lancair IV-PThe next few are also very close...Lotus L39, NGX, Carenado T210M

If I had to pick one that would be the Lotus L-39. It's the perfect plane. It's a jet that's easy to fly. Excellent visuals, effects, and night lighting. My FAV 5 are:Ant's SierraCarenado 337Realair DukeFlight1 MustangiFLY 737/FS2 Crew

The PMDG NGX is prolly the best value for an fsx aircraft.
I would have to disagree, the IFLY package, including all variations of the Ng is 15 dollars cheaper than the 700/800 PMDG. Plus, the quality is slightly less than the PMDG.

My favorite isn't released yet, but it will be this week: A2A Warhawk P40.Compared to the typical GA planes, warbirds fly fast, are mmaneuverable and the canopies allow viewing all around. And yet still a stable low and slow scenery crate.Back in fs9 days, my favorite was the A2A Zero for canyon hopping, even at slow speeds.
