It will be so much fun to fly the Mustang "from the outside" (because there is no inside...)600 Microsoft Points or 7.20 €
Isn't it great that we don't have to buy planes, scenery, or other items that we don't want? I remember with FSX I had to pay for helicopters, Russian scenery, Red Bull racing missions, fighter jets, aircraft carriers, a pretty lame 747, find the baby Rhino mission, a glider, and an ultralight. I'd much rather exclude (and not pay for) that stuff and spend my money on stuff that interests me.

:(

Some people have just decided for themselves it's bad. If it wasn't that the planes are "standard" or that planes for 1/4 the price of third party planes are basic, im sure they would think of something else. Some people have apparently just decided to be negative, even about aircraft that are an optional purchase.Me, I just started planning to get a new pc for ms flight! :D-

You don't need a thing, just your mouse and go! LOL!

''You don't need a joystick, you don't need a keyboard, grab a mouse and go''. :(
LOL!

Start doing the math... $20 bucks for a few islands and a couple of plane perhaps? How much to have the entire world as we do right now, plus the wealth of premium freeware aircraft? I guess we need to do and IPO ala Facebook to raise enough cash... LOL...Chale

Some people have beta tested Flight. Some people have read the MS releases, looked at the screen shots, and watched the videos. Some people have watched the leaked videos all over the Internet. Then they have decided that Flight is bad for themselves.

How about a plane without a panel?

You won't need one. Your old computer and mouse will work just fine.

It's called the nibble. This is when you get people to agree with a small purchase, then make the profits with upsells. It works! People fall for it all the time.

What on earth makes you think there will be, at some time, the whole earth in this GAME????

Cool I'll give it a go with my old pc then :)As for the plane without a panel I'll vote with my wallet and pass on that one. I've been overly positive but I admit a plane without a cockpit is for the kids :\-Sorry I didnt see "some people have tested the beta / then decided its bad..." I guess the beta guys should know, but it seems opinions are divided with the beta testers also, so Im not gonna write off something before Ive tested it first hand, which is ok since its free. I need a new pc anyway ;)(edit)

This was exactly what I was thinking. This is just a move to make way more money on the game than they did before. This is going to cost flight enthusiasts hundreds of dollars to get what we used to get for only 70 bucks. And we still have to wait and see if it will even come close to what one would expect as an improvement over FSX.I'm not even going to consider touching this one, that's for sure.

Prepar3D is becoming more interesting as the saga unfolds. Orbx may be correct in stating there is a lot of life in FSX. No mention of Helicopters in Flight ... bummer.

Reserves judgement until about the 4th of March, and will review again in about 2014! Being one of the optimistic types left, I'll give it time. It's taken four years for my FSX set up to mature to the point where I'm reasonably happy. Flight isn't likely to take any less time, and FSX will be more than adequate in the meantime.Mike D

I have a strange feeling this will be my only and last post in the "Microsoft Flight" forum (and I'm sure Microsoft could care less). The visuals of "Microsoft Flight" look absolutely stunning... For free, I'll download "Flight", install it on my son's PC and like many thousands of people will explore the island. As for the coins and balloons, I'll let my son do that.Until such time that Microsoft offers DLC for my area, and jets (with a fully functional cockpit) I will not be buying any DLC.Good luck Microsoft with the launch "Microsoft Flight", and thanks again "Aces" for giving us FS9 and FSX.If Microsoft tracks the number of downloads of the free base package of "Flight", I'm sure you'll have a huge successful launch.Good luck.RJ
