What do you think of GSX by FSDT ?

Featured Replies

I think that it will be quite awesome too. It has a few rough edges at present, but the responses to problems are quite incredible. I am sure that I shall be a long-term happy customer of GSX.
I agree! Hopefully have the same experience with PFPX (when it releases)!

Ahhh... PFPX.. If only i would release VERY soon - soooo looking foreward to it!!Regarding GSX. The way I undstand it, it does some visual goodies around your aircraft while at gate, and also does push.I'm the kinda guy who very rarely takes antoher view that that of the VC (e.g. almost never go to spot or anything).. Would benefit from GSX?Also the pushback. I find the "in-house" pushback feature with the NGX quite satisfying, and with Fs2Crew hopefully coming up soon, I'll be left with the visual goodies of GSX - are the worth the price from the VC only?Mas

Mas;If you rarely look outside, I'm not sure it would be worth the $39 US. I'm thinking the purpose is to enhance the realism of hearing the people borading, seeing the fuel truck pull up (which you probably should not use with complex addon aircraft), etc...In my opinion, the biggest help for you is seeing the marshaller.

I find the GSX experience very helpful in adding to 'the experience', even though I am also mainly a VC pilot. I use neither FS2Crew nor AES.

I heard a rumor that it's possible that interaction between FS2CREW & GSX could happen down the road.

I have AES by Aerosoft and have been looking at dropping that in favour of GSX. While I understand that it works with FSX default airports, will it work with other third party airports like Orbx and Aerosoft?
I am using GSX With Orbx Brisbane International and it works well. Have found that it does have it's little bugs but I am sure they will get it sorted

I'm glad to know you love this addon.

They already have a fix for the fuel truck and Pmdg aircraft that use a different fuel selection. It is all procedure and looks. If you are into it, go for it cause it truly is great.

Excellent, because I own two of their Airports, and as they say.GSX works FOR FREE AT ALL FSDT AIRPORTS

Thanks for pointing me to this. Tis my birthday weekend and I was looking to add something to my NGX experience...until I can have a copilot.Edit, ok, I JUST bought it and have used it just long enough for one servicing, boarding and push back and I have to say I am VERY pleased. Thanks again for the OP. They even have the correct airline logos on the service vehicles! Though I'll be redoing Southwest repaints to get them in the correct canyon blue color!

I've listened to it, and while I'm glad people give back to the community this sound pack sounds like the pushback crew is standing next to you in the flightdeck...it doesn't sound like it's over the intercom while the original ground crew does.
