Some people like to do more than pattern work ;)Thanks Bert, it does look like it would work. I suppose I could stick a popup in for the clickspot as well... I'll think on it.
Ryan, you are one tough sell. I know you were a little disappointed with not being able to do what you wanted to do with the TurboProp, and now this bird. You really impress me, as you know what you want and how you want to fly. I hope you can find some middle ground.RegardsBob

Some days I like pattern work... it's just that I also like to fly IFR on vatsim, and if I can't fly with an up to date (or relatively up to date) GPS I basically have to file /A which means using VOR/DME navigation. Which is fine and dandy, and it can be quite a challenge, but if the plane has GPS I like to be able to shoot rnav/gps approaches ;)I suppose I could drop the 50 bucks on the 530W (maybe some day)At this point I'm thinking about what J van E wrote - I've got many payware planes and I only fly a few of them... Which ones are really worth having?

Well, just an opinion, I own and fly an RV-9a which is the watered down version of the RV-6/7(I did my transition training in a 6) and I am happy to say that this offering has some of the highest fidelity flight dynamics I have ever experienced in FSX or any other sim. The twitchyness/fundaments of flight are all there, and it's good fun.Makes me wish I got a 6 or a 7.Also, don't neglect that rudder.

Lucky guy! Oh how I miss flying...

Is this aircraft refundable like other Flight1 products?

Yes! The installer is an official Flight1 installer and you can get a refund like with any other Fligh1 purchase. Obviously this plane isn't the kind of plane you'll need/want a refund for... :(

I took Jeroen's word on should I buy this and got it last night. It's hard to put in words but like him I've just deleted a LOT of GA and I think this is the one.But it's my turn to tell you something and it's up to you ofc if you take my word for it but you MUST get A2A Accu-feel, it so adds to this and any other aircraft.Just 1 e.g.It's a hot day so you have the canopy open as you set up and start the engines with Accu-feel the wind blowing back from the prop is there and then you close the canopy and the noise goes quiet just like it should, you can land and again open the canopy and the noise is right.and that's just one e.g....

Oh my goose-nest...You guys are seriously funny. I was expecting a modern airliner or a modern military a/c. jajaja....Oh well, I'll keep waiting. But, hey I don't mean to spoil your fun.. I know we all have our set of a/c we prefer. And just as I enjoy a good Airbus, a Boeing, or a good VRS, I am sure you too enjoy a small little piston little plane. :( I know I'm so such a bad comedian ! Enjoy guys !
Stunning, words fail me. Love the big font it makes it even funnier........./faceparm

Phew... The first sentence scared me... but luckily the second sentence was very positive. :wink:About Accu-feel: I'll have another look, although if it's only for the sound of the wind at startup with the canopy up... :( The RV-7 has awesome sounds already and I also have Ezdok and (as everyone knows by now :() I only fly the RV-7 and the PMDG 737NGX, so... I am not sure if it's worth it...

Yes even for just the RV-7, I know you have never had a Accu-sim and I would never delete them aircraft because IMO there better than anything including the RV-7 because you get a totally living engine that is so true to life its just breath taking m8. But i class them as warbirds.Accu-feel will give you a real feeling so much more that I can put into words. Look here.http://a2asimulation...wforum.php?f=87watch this

Ryan, the Lancair IV-P is everything a man could want. Stick with it.

I think the lighting is great:301RV7.jpgWhat I really think is amazing is the VC rain effects. The best I've seen since FUIII.
