March 9, 201214 yr Who knows. I've asked the same around as well.If they are having an issue with references or something, I really wish they would ask around, i'm sure there's lots of people around willing to help them out. Patrick Houghton
March 9, 201214 yr Yeah its really strange we have not heard anything and everyone who asked about it in the general forum got their post deleted so who knows. John Bauer
March 10, 201214 yr My ignorant mouth has been shut down many of times haha. I still have hope though! Cameron Caldwell CPL (A) King Air 200 Pilot
March 10, 201214 yr I am still hoping that this they are developing it, I've been looking forward to this even more than the NGX. I remember some time ago, it might have even been before the NGX came out that Ryan said they were still doing it. John Bauer
March 11, 201214 yr I don't think PMDG is really serious about making another prop payware, if how they neglected the J41 updates is any indication of which way they are heading. Johnny Rosario
March 16, 201214 yr @ Rosario Ya,i feeling like you,if PMDG make LITE level aircraft, you should consider before purchase. Jia-Hsing Fu

March 16, 201214 yr Is the DC6 not a prop?Yes, the DC6 is a prop, but not completed yet. And who is to day that once it is out, they will take care of their customers with SP they way they have let down J41 customers. Let's get real and call it as it is and stop kissing butts. Johnny Rosario
March 16, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hold on a sec there. What are they really letting us down on? SP2 was going to do what for us? If we're going to get real, let's actually discuss what you're all in a tizzy about. Kyle Rodgers
March 16, 201214 yr I would also like to know what SP2 was supposed to do? Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
March 16, 201214 yr When I first bought the J41, there was a lot of hype about looking for solutions to several issue people were having. Talks about SP2 came about, was hoping one day things would get resolved in order to use the J41 as originally design, but then after developers figured out that as the J41 got older, no more resource was going to be spent in improving it. Whether or not it was because they felt that a $45 dollar product was going to turn out to be a $70 product before it was all set and done or not, or because after developing the capability to ice the windows and wings caused problems with FSX limitations or not, that's not my call or my problem. I see a product out, I read the specs, and I get to decide if what the developers have put out is an aircraft worth buying based on the expectations. That's what the let down is all about. Don't come to me like I owe it to PMDG or any other developers to be happy about a product that doesn't work the way it was intended to work. As a consumer I have that right to be upset. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this product has broken my bank, and far from it. But what I am saying is that once burned with false expectation, customers either complain while others simply never buy from the developer again. I've been following PMDG ever since FS9 came out, and bought all their aircraft except for the MD11, and I'm reluctant to even think of getting the NGX. Personally I think they are getting ridiculously expensive, but hey I haven't bought it not just for that reason, but for fear of false expectations. I now wait for at least a year to see how many people are having problems with it or not, and how many updates and improvements are added to it. Johnny Rosario
March 16, 201214 yr Hold on a sec there. What are they really letting us down on? SP2 was going to do what for us?...A search will reveal some of what was planned. For example to quote Tabs:"Guys, there is a legitimate issue with the beveling here - it's not gaps/masks or anything, just very small details in the model's edging that don't seem to work out right." and talking about the flashing VC graphics corruption:"We know what's causing this too - will be fixed along with the bezel thing mentioned in another thread if we do an SP2"Enough to be going on with?Andy Lawton
