By far, WX radar. Makes no sense to me, personally. They claim they didn't do it because it wouldn't be 100% accurate, then they give us a model addon only with no modeled systems for the 747-8, the Boeing 787 hauling freighter, etc.

To turn over in the VC and see my FO or Jumpseater would be amazing. There are some addon aircraft that do this. That said, what I'd really want to see that's waaaaay too farfetched to ever happen in our lifetimes is a solid damage simulation like DCS or IL2 had. Half the fun of simulating an airline flight is knowing you're good enough not to break anything - but it takes the fun away when you do mess up and nothing breaks. I'd love a damage model complex enough to where when I slam the gear down at -700 ft/min the strut snaps in two and I'm sent off the edge of the runway in flames.

 

I did that last week in DCS: A-10. Broke the gear, sheared off a wing, and slid off the edge of the runway in sparks and flames. In FSX I would have just bounced. :P

I'd like to see an animated co-pilot muttering about what an asshat his Captain is, swearing to himself about seniority as he shelters in the nose gear bay getting hydraulic fluid on his shiny new untarnished epaulettes when you send him out in the p***ing rain to do the walkaround whilst you hit on the animated cabin crew, loudly pointing out what that additional stripe on your uniform means so the passengers can hear you.

Hydraulic lift kit, so the plane can squat, jump, and do other tricks while taxiing?

Brake parachute for ultra short field landings?

Ya! me too.. but with a paint kit so you can add your own face just uploading via FMC a picture in *.jpg from your HD

maybe some pulse lasers or ejection seats for the passengers

I want an active walk around the plane system so I can actually get out of the captains chair.

 

DBS walk and follow is great for simulating this i all seriousness.

It would be nice if the boxed version came with a crew of live female flight attendants (as real as it gets). Enough for a full crew and a couple on standby riding jumpseat. :)

 

Or, how about releasing a version of the NGX for Flight? You know, Microsoft's new coin operated video game? Hahahaha. Just kidding. Flying through hoops and collecting coins is better left to the Maule--and Super Mario Bros.
