Quit hitting me!

Featured Replies

Grrr...two days in row now, I've flown, landed, and taxied to the gate only to be hit. Day before I'm sitting at the gate shutting down the jet and suddenly the game stops and tells me I've crashed into an object. Apparently, the jet that was parked next to me taxied away from the gate and right into me. Today I can see this truck coming down the taxiway so I watch it, it's just driving straight minding it's own business when it suddenly does a right turn right into me. I want the realism of having active ground traffic but come on. Didn't the folks at Microsoft teach these things how to drive???

I turned off crash detection years ago after a long flight some object was incorrectly along side the runway and my wing hit it on rollout, have never put crash detection on again.

Turned mine off too, I had crashes detected in the LVL-D767 during pushback. That made me turn it off real fast.

Same here, just turn off the crash detection.. there is absolutely no need to have it on.

I was really impressed with Fly Tampa's Athens scenery.

First time i have ever seen trucks and buses stop at intersections to let you go past, as soon as you clear the intersection, they continue on their way.

We are talking about FSX, right? Everything you do can and will be used to decrease performance. It was designed that way... Just%20Kidding.gif

Two miles of road can take you two miles. Two miles of runway can take you anywhere in the world

Mcoomer,

Some addons such as FS Passengers will turn crash detection back on without you being aware of it.
