DCS World 1.2.10 Update 1

With the release of DCS: MiG-21bis by Leatherneck Simulations, we have also release Update 1 of DCSW 1.2.10. In addition to supporting the release of DCS: MiG-21bis by Leatherneck Simulations, our other purpose of this update is to update the DCS: F-86F Sabre and DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora modules.

EZ42 Gun Sight improvements. Gunsight power switch (on right side of gunsight) it function was to switch on/off both gyroscopes not the whole gunsight.

EZ42 Gun Sight improvements. Both gyroscopes need approximately 1.5 min to get right lead calculation. So they must be switch on in advance before fight.

The cockpit light intensity is corrected.

Radio Power consumption is reduced.

Maybe, but then I will pass milviz 737-200 at discount. No money for all three.

Can highly recommend the Sabre. The last patch that came out has improved it beyond sight. Great bird to fly.

You really can't go wrong with any of them IMHO.

Dang, I bought the Sabre and Dora at full price. Oh well, happy to support these guys nonetheless.

 

Def a great time to get the Huey though. Been holding out on that.

mi-8 would be great with this discount but i don't feel like learning lots of russian switches and procedures

Gave up on DCS... offered all of my modules, which means all but Combined Arms that I never bought. Hope the happy users can profit the best from them - I wish there was a similar process of license transfer with many other sims and addons...

 

Why? Simple.... With the Aerowinx PSX "work", and il2 bos and rise of flight, I really had to make a choice and eliminate the "weakest link" and that was DCS World.

After all I was only using the p51d and the Fw190. Never really found any interest in the FC3 or A10c, even less on the ka50.

 

Well, now it's time to learn RoF and IL2 BOS bombing techniques :-)

 

If I only knew some of you didn't have some of the modules I offered :-(

Hi, If you don't mind I have a few simple questions about DCS.  The present sale has caught my attention and I remembered that I bought DCS A10 Warthog from steam several years ago. I checked it out today and it is vers 1.1.1.  My questions are Is the A10 a stand alone or the DCS World is already incorporated with the A10 software? If not and I use the DCS World from steam can I purchase the modules from the DCS webstie and they will be incorporated into Steam or should I download DCS World from the DCS site.?  Sorry for the confusion, just want to make sure I don't make a mistake if I decided to pick up a few modules during the sale.  By the way I did not spend a whole lot of time with A10 since it is very complex (IMO) and would take up to much time. Now that I am retired I can spend more time.

that's sad man. i hope you will be happy with your decision. i gave up fsx  for playing dcs after many years. it was a tough decision too
