Cool map! Cool er............ basic Cub. Scenery looks er... okay. I am curious how the airports are and/or how many details there are. Most of Alaska will look pretty generic, I think...

I phoned my son who happens to be home and asked him if he could download everything for me, so I can fly as soon as I get home. However, even though I purchased everything, he could only see the Alaska Wilderness Pack: he didn't see that other additional DLC... Are those files downloaded automatically when you download Alaska or do they really have to be downloaded manually too...?

If he downloads wilderness pack then loads Flight and selects Alaska... it will ask you to click Download for the rest of the DLCs....

The Maule's VC seems more confined now. I think they changed the default view. It makes it look more realistic for being in a small cockpit.

Downloading right now. Luckily I had 1200 MS points left over and it was exactly enough for the purchase. Looking forward to this.

Thank you.

Been flying round for a while now and switching seasons, weather and time a lot.

As the above pics by HiFlyer clearly show, Alaska comes with seasonal textures and even the "dynamic" scenery changes with the season. Been at Kodiak in "summer" and found a containership and two coast guard cutters lying at the piers, while none of them was there in winter obviously due to heavy ice round the harbor. Heavy weather setting also brings nice turbulences now, made landing a little tricky.

Thank you, HiFlyer! Nice images.

WOW! I love that difference between summer and winter: looks awesome!

Question: does it snow in Flight's Alaska...? And are there any differences between spring, summer and autumn textures and trees?

For fans of Flying Wild Alaska, Unalakleet airport is there with all the details. I don't see Jim Tweto around though...

Trying to post a representative sample. Summer, Autumn, Winter.
