June 27, 201213 yr Here's the solution to that 'cannot complete the purchase at this time' issue, just in case you cannot find the FAQ: Go into your Windows Control Panel, and choose Clock, Language and Region, then choose Date and Time, then select the Internet Time tab and click Change Settings, then Synchronise the server drop down menu so that it shows time.windows.com Al already synced...?????

June 27, 201213 yr I did a brief check. Found some new challenges (landings). Quick look in to the jobs didn't show anything new but a job is a job can't imagine anything else than carrying cargo or passengers. Anyway it could be fun to try to replicate a FWA episode even without the correct planes.
June 27, 201213 yr Sorry Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! guess they don't want my money!
June 27, 201213 yr Wow, sitting here in Melbourne, watching all this excitement, it's really nice! Wifey bans me Frm pc use during the weekdays. Keep up the Screenies or even vids for us poor souls. What's dawn like? Close ups of the facilities would be great. It sounds so large. They just have to have a larger plane with cockpit lurking. bloody slow in a Stearman, not to mention cold. Enjoy your discoveries everyone! Simmo W, Melbourne, Ozhttp://www.youtube.com/user/id5556
June 27, 201213 yr Could someone give a (rough) estimate on how many ILS-approaches there are? I am REALLY looking forward to new approaches :) Mark
June 27, 201213 yr Another question (man, do I wish I could find it out myself NOW ): how's performance? There is a LOT more land and mountains around the plane, maybe also more trees, so I wondered if anyone noticed a decrease in smoothness...? Since no one complained about it I guess the answer is no... I am also curious to what detailed stuff there is. In Hawaii is was impossible to miss the details on Oahu, but in Alaska you can fly for hours and miss EVERYTHING! Could someone give a (rough) estimate on how many ILS-approaches there are? I am REALLY looking forward to new approaches :) Me too! I loved doing them in Hawaii (where I learned how to read charts and all). Welcome to the forum btw: leuk je hier te zien, haha!

There is a LOT more land and mountains around the plane, maybe also more trees, so I wondered if anyone noticed a decrease in smoothness...? Since no one complained about it I guess the answer is no... My quick hop was silky smooth. I didn't even notice any performance problems at all, but I wasn't looking for them either.
June 27, 201213 yr Added my paypal account to my Xbox account. That should be all they need to know. Give me the GOODS!
June 27, 201213 yr Me too! I loved doing them in Hawaii (where I learned how to read charts and all). Welcome to the forum btw: leuk je hier te zien, haha! Thanks! You seem quite busy, with the GoT-forum, the Steam-forum and the one over here as well! ;) Mark
June 27, 201213 yr Forgive me when I'm wrong 'cause I've been up AAAAALL night downloading and looking around. Unlike Hawaii, the navigational aids don't show up unless you map zoom in very close so they're hard to count but there are plenty of ILS and NDB. Similarly, there are lots of airports, big and small but, in map, they don't appear without zooming in to a much greater degree than Hawaii. Maybe this is 'cause the area is so much larger here in Alaska. Additionally, my big rig decided to quit yesterday so I'm doing this on Honey's powerful (?) laptop with newbie TrackIR and a Logitech G940. I had to rewire EVERYTHING tonight but mostly things went smooth. I'm still happy but now I'm tired. Just another short hop or two in the snow, the wonderful driving snow at dawn.

June 27, 201213 yr how is the snow modelled in-air? is it realistic? Any screenies of flying through snow? JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
June 27, 201213 yr I literally just scrolled the map around for a minute to see the "airport density", noticed the ILS feathers on a few, clicked on a couple to glance at the Job list, then hit the runway at Unakakleet in summer to take off, checked out the town, the trees, and the ice floes, switched to winter to see the snow, then landed on the slushy runway, trying to stay right on centerline to keep out of the mess along the edges. Then I had to go to work. EDIT: Suggested to my wife that I may take a sick-day and got "that look." You know that look. Ah call in sick anyway...... ;)
June 27, 201213 yr Thanks! You seem quite busy, with the GoT-forum, the Steam-forum and the one over here as well! ;) LOL Well, I can assure you, this forum takes the most of my time by far...!!! Sorry to know :-( I hope you can get it back working ASAP!!! Your wish has been granted, so it seems: I had to rewire EVERYTHING tonight but mostly things went smooth. I'm still happy but now I'm tired. Just another short hop or two in the snow, the wonderful driving snow at dawn.
