July 10, 201213 yr I havent posted in here for years, but thought Id pass on something I noticed today. Carenado released the Bonanza F33 for FS2004. Its a great plane in FSX and XP, so it should be equally great in FS9. Rob
July 10, 201213 yr +1 They'll love it ! http://forum.avsim.net/page/index.html/_/pr-ann/carenado-expands-fleet-into-fs9-r411#commentsStart Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
July 10, 201213 yr Come one fs9 drivers! Get over to Carenado and buy this thing. If enough of us do so, we may yet see the Caravan, Cessna 340, Malibu and C90 in Fs9, where they will ACTUALLY RUN WELL ENOUGH TO ENJOY!!!! I do not work for Carenado, nor am I being paid to say this. But I have been begging them not to forget us fs9 mainstays.
July 10, 201213 yr This FS9 driver just bought it, and am impressed. Thanks to Carenado for listening to your customers. John G.
July 10, 201213 yr I am interested in this FSX to FS9 porting system they have developed. Hopefully more products will be "reverse engineered". Cheers Steve Hall
July 11, 201213 yr i just bought it also, amazing quality for a GA Plane in fs9, bravo Carenado. I took off from Aerosoft's PANC and flew over GEORENDER ALASKA scenery and it was spectacular! :drinks: When i took off i had a clean windshield and later on it got dirty and scratches showed on the glass just like in Microsoft Flight.......awesome! and that virtual pilot moving around in the cockpit is also amazing and cute :P
July 11, 201213 yr Does this one have a full 2D panel or just the VC? Features: Original GNS 430 included. Original HQ digital stereo sounds recorded from the original aircraft. 2D gauges Polygon optimized model. Friendly FPS. Control windows for controlling eyes candies (wheel chocks, bags, pitot cover, and sights prop) Autopilot installed. Pop up F33 Bonanza manual with performance charts and normal and emergency procedures and check list. Interactive virtual cockpit. Full moving parts: Ailerons, elevators, rudders, flaps, rolling wheels and trim tab. Animated sections such as: propeller, doors, windows, sun visor, copilot seat, cowl flaps and pilot. 3D modeled pilot and cockpit area. Realistic light effects on gauges. Nightlight effects on panel. Toggle yoke. Real behavior compared to the real airplane. Real weight and balance.
July 11, 201213 yr Well thanks - but that does not really answer my question. "2D gauges" could mean pop-up windows in the VC. The last few planes that Carenado produced for FS9 did not have full 2D cockpits, so I wanted to know if this was any different. Graeme Butler
July 11, 201213 yr Does this one have a full 2D panel or just the VC? i never use 2d but i switched views and noticed the 2d panel which also looks good but the VC looks amazing. Don't u like the VC in aircraft addons?
July 11, 201213 yr Well thanks - but that does not really answer my question. "2D gauges" could mean pop-up windows in the VC. The last few planes that Carenado produced for FS9 did not have full 2D cockpits, so I wanted to know if this was any different. No 2D panel... I implore all FS9ers to support this release. Out of all Caranado's FSX only add-ons there's got to be something you would like 2D panel or not. I can't believe the lack of a 2D panel would sway anyone with quality like this. July 11, 201213 yr A very nice model indeed! :Applause: ....this could get quite expensive if Carenado convert the rest of their models. A couple of gripes....It seems Carenado still do not pay attention to static contact points These are correct: static_pitch = 4.8 static_cg_height = 2.74 And they need to learn how to impliment delays into their HSI/VOR needles. Apart from that "Way to go Carenado!" bring on the rest. My FS Videos
July 11, 201213 yr I never use 2d, but I switched views and noticed the 2d panel which also looks good but the VC looks amazing. Don't you like the VC in aircraft addons? There are many of us who prefer to use the 2D panel, where ALL the cockpit instruments appear before us, with no need to scroll around the screen to locate individual items, etc. Also, on some aircraft, the 2D panel can be re-sized, (height) to enable a better view ahead. The 2D panel also enables me to add, delete, and move various instruments around to suit myself, with a click of the mouse, using FS Panel Studio.. Most/all of my instrument panels are modified in some way, to suit myself, and this can only be done on the 2D panel. For me, and I suspect many others, it is vital the the model contains a comprehensive 2D Instrument panel, (in addition to the VC Panel). 2D panel v VC panel....horses for courses! Its always nice to have the choice of both. Most of my flights are mainly to explore the scenery around me, with a suitable aircraft for the purpose, the internal and external appearance of the vehicle being of secondary importance. A simple 2D panel fits the purpose to control the aircraft as necessary. Paul...FS 2004...FS Navigator...FS Panel Studio and a hole cutter..... :Bug: ....!
July 11, 201213 yr It seems Carenado still do not pay attention to static contact points I didn't notice anything too wrong on my system - what I can't seem to get is wheel chocks and pitot covers! I get baggage OK... EDIT: Mmm parking brake...
