July 12, 201213 yr When Robert, at his excellent Munich presentation, singled out the person who mentioned "AIRBUS" to pick out the lucky draw ticket I thought ahhh!.. why??....and coupled with the fact that he said the next project would be a "surprise coming from us", I just can't help feeling that there is a message in there....... With the 340 sadly disappearing from airports, well, mine at least, it leaves only the 320, 330 or 380. I personally hope it'll be the 380! In the meantime, I anxiously and patiently await my fav Boeing 777 with its mighty GE90-115Bs and the throbbing DC6... Thank you PMDG. Tom
July 12, 201213 yr I personally hope it'll be the 380! Eww who wants them to make that flying whale? Ryan already said they're not making it. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
July 12, 201213 yr The 787 system wise isn't too far away from a 777 so that would be a logical step. Cal Callum McLoughlin
July 12, 201213 yr I personally hope it'll be the 380! This would be surprising...and not too far away from the evidences. Good catch! Let's hope. Mauricio Brentano
July 12, 201213 yr We are just dreaming... Thanks to that we are here in this very topic dreaming about some secret projetc announced by the boss. Oh...the lines...of a A380 are not my favourite ones by the way... :P Mauricio Brentano
July 12, 201213 yr Someday they were talking about making an a320. I'm positive I read that somewhere on this forum. But let's enjoy today instead of discussing what might come up in 2015 Ralf Medernach
July 13, 201213 yr Marko- The comment about "what you see at the airport" is specifically in reference to our line of flagship airliners.... The DC-6 is a secondary product line that we are creating in order to make better utilization of our resources, without bogging them down into a full blown glass airliner- as I described in Munich. Robert, The DC-6 is nice but the thought of having 15,000 shaft horesepower available from those T-56s. Talk about the ability to stop. Only from the Electra/P-3. Bill Bridges They said they're not doing an A380. It looks like neither is Airbus. Billy Bluestar I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
July 15, 201213 yr What is still a secret is the next plane after the 747 which Robert mentioned in the video from the Aerosoft conference. If I remember correctly, he said something to the effect that it would be something different from what we would expect from PMDG. Any guesses on this one? Different than what we would expect from PMDG ey? So.. not a 717, 757, 767, or 787... cos that's what I would expect from PMDG lol. C17?, Cessna C182?, Tupolev Tu154?, F35 Joint Strike Fighter?, Airbus A3xx?, EC135 Eurocopter?, Lockheed Super Constellation? L1011? Fokker F.VII Trimotor? ... July 15, 201213 yr Yep, this was exactly my point. Out of the large airliners, the only ones I wouldn't expect PMDG to make are the ones they have said they won't! :P
July 16, 201213 yr Well, I really hope that PMDG do actually proceed with the 787 next. That would be just wonderful B) Karl Brooker
