Does this new one have the wingflex modeled?

I know that was a pretty big subject with regards to Airbus X.

I realise you mainly meant to say that hand flying the new 'Bus X is amazing. The point I'm trying to make is that that doesn't have anything to do with using ILS or not, since it's perfectly possible to hand fly an ILS approach. Thus the sentence "hand flying is so amazing, you won't want to use the ILS" makes no sense.

Okay so then maybe I should've said something along the lines of "hand flying is so amazing, you wouldn't want to perform an autoland" ? (Not trying to be sarcastic or start an argument on here)

No. According to Mathijs, the wing of an airbus A320 is so stiff that wingflex is hardly noticeable and that wingflex just look unrealistic in FSX.

Realistic wing-flex, ie none for an Airbus A320...

Yes there is wing flex, though not so much.

Glad you set me straight there, sure what would I know about the A320???

What you see in the 320 is a conbination of vibration and bumpy taxi surfaces. It's not the wing flexing...

Oh you are right, I was thinking these small vibrations that are modeled on for example PMDG 737NGX as wing flex as wingtips move up and down a bit, not about the flexing of whole wing that always happens when plane accelerates and becomes airborne... Yes of course you are right, A320 doesn't have really have that one much at all.

Do we really need to keep flogging a dead horse??? Airbus says the is minimal wing flex, the developer says no wing flex, real world pilots say no win flex the developers have stated they will simulate no wing flex....i think it is safe to assume that maybe there will be no wing flex??

The less flexible a rw wing gets, the more flexible the sim users have to be. That sentence works in both directions. Me is a diplomat.

But Will names it, that wing flex horse rode a long time ago. I like wing flex on gliders. Anyone else? There was a A330 gliding some time ago.

So will there or won't there be flexing of the wing structure?

Mathijs Kok has said many times that the wing flex will not be simulated in the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended.

I was kidding.

Good move! ^_^ Guess that works on every Airbus X thread page, regardless of the forum. Now lets get back to wing.. wait.

LOL.... The only flexing will happen on my wallet as it opens to buy it!
