I cant find where the cutout switch is for the annoying warning horn for the "landing gear not down" situation if you have flaps 15 or more selected. Sometimes I would find it conveniate to silence the alarm. FCOM just says that it can be silenced by pressing the cutout switch but could someone point out exactly where in the cocpit can I find the button/switch? :)

To the right of the of fuel cutoff switches on the centre pedestal.

It is easier to see if you switch to right seat FO position.

The Landing aural warning horn cutoff switch is on the control stand next to the flap lever near the flap 30 gate.

 

But the switch won't silence the landing warning horn when the flaps are set at 15 units and more when the gears are not down and locked. It's only possible to silence the horn with the horn cutout switch when the flaps are between 0 to 10 units with the aircraft between 800 and 200 feet AGL (radio altimeter), Lower than 200 feet or when the flaps are set to more than 10 units than the aircraft is in a landing configuration. At this time the gears must be down and locked.

With flaps 25 or less you always have an option to move thrust levers approximately 20 degrees from idle position to silence the horn (maybe the most useless suggestion here).

GPWS is not related to gear warning except for "TOO LOW GEAR" wich can be inhibited.

Landing gear configuration warning can be cancelled in some conditions if altitude and flaps permit, otherwise, either lowering gears or pulling out circuit breakers are the only ways to solve that.

In the NGX the AURAL WARN circuit breaker is not simulated so, fly high, fly with low flap settings or lower gears.
