I'm mostly excited about the night lighting as well. The NGX's night lighting is meh, IMO. Not that it's bad, but the Boeing 737 itself has a retro-looking cockpit, while the Boeing 777 has a much more futureristic, modern, and Airbus-like cockpit.

I feel the NGX has the best night lighting I have used in a FS add-on..

For me is probably the NGX weakest point, but you know...there's no accounting for tastes.

Read my post again. I did not say the NGX's night lighting is bad, I just said that in real life and on the sim, the Boeing 737 AIRPLANE AS A WHOLE has an unmodern looking cockpit. The 777 on the other hand, looks much more futuristic so that is why I'd like to see the night lighting on it instead.

Oh no! No taxi camera? Maybe it will be like "this will not be replicated as it is impossible to replicate this in FSX due to the limitations in MS flight simulator?". Something along the lines of the much requested weather radar.

+1, although I'm not so sure that we'll get that right of the bat if at all.

LOL, I am the same I have to admit, cannot wait to get my hands on that yoke and those throttles! Cannot comment on the NGX issue thouh - I really like the way it handles, both in the air and on the ground :-)

Kind regards

No need to roll your eyes at me, we just have a different way of looking at it.

I agree that the 737 cockpit is older looking, but the fully controllable night lighting the ngx has is great. I can't do the all in one switch night lighting now.

How I judge the night lighting is 1. How controllable it is and 2. as close to the real plane as possible, and on that standard the NGX has been the best I have used. I don't judge it based on the colors Boeing used or anything else

Taxi Camera would be brilliant for sure. Weather Radar for FSX is not that useful in my eyes. Day and Night in the sim you can see weather visually. Anyway I doubt many would or even do deviate around weather when flying. Terrain Radar is much more useful :-)

That's why I use the active sky radar map, quite useful for picking my way through storms when I'm in a cloudy soup while approaching an airport. I rarely use the terrain radar as most of my airports are in flat lands lol
