Going to buy it of course, even though in my years of simming, I have not even made it to England a handful of times.

I have purchased all 4xAU, and PNW and PF in the US and several airports for each of those (in the sales) and I have only ever flown between YMML and YSCB :lol: . Havent touched any of the other items yet.

 

I live in UK not far from EGCC but cant see the point in purchasing more items when I have so much to fly over already. Besides I prefer US mountains and lakes to the flatness of UK (apart from Cumbria and Wales)

Not in the slightest. Not interested in photoscenery. I did have (and still have I think somewhere) the UK VFR 4x region photo scenery but that was several years ago. I lost interest in that when the watermasks, which were advertised on the box as being included, were not included and had to be downloaded via torrent (which has since been removed).

Fair enough. But if your only experience of Orbx is Aus, then perhaps I could suggest you try PNW, especially if you like mountains and lakes. I have to admit, AUS is my least favourite place to fly. I find it a bit boring, although I've said that a few times over on the Orbx forum and got shot at :lol: But wow, the Northern Rocky Mountains and the Pacific North west are where I fly most of my GA, absolutely stunning scenery for GA flying. I agree about the photosceneries, while OK for some things, IMO, without doubt they fall short on many things. Everyone to their own I guess, which is good, but I for one will be whacking the credit card this weekend!

I'm tired of the mountains in PNW - although nice to look at.. you see one mountain, you've seem 'em all..

Wait a minute here.....is it on sale or for sale...hahaha

It looks great, and I'm tempted since I've spent a little time there and like the places I've seen, but... I have to admit that I know where Graham's coming from. I'm a US flyer, but I bought NZSI back when it was released because I could see how good it was. I still haven't even installed it.

 

Yeah, I know...

 

Southern Alaska and Northern CA on the other hand, I'll have as fast as I can make those bits fly into the house.
