December 9, 201213 yr It's coming! In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew. December 9, 201213 yr Awesome....we got Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Ironman, X-men, Hulk, , Thor, etc etc etc that take place here on Earth. December 9, 201213 yr Hey Thor was in Asgard a lot! Yep, true  But that is what I mean, I like being taken away to other worlds. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
December 9, 201213 yr I do as well. And I love this alternate timeline and crew. They did a good job with the casting "I like this ship! It's exciting!" Randy Swofford

December 9, 201213 yr "I like this ship! It's exciting!" yea he stole the movie the last time. Too much emphases on Spock and Kirk so Scotty just made the movie fun. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
December 9, 201213 yr Supposedly there will be a nine minute preview (the entire opening scene) of this movie shown with the Hobbit Imax3D I love my home theatre so much I just wait for them on Blu Ray. I loathe the theatre. Always a few jerks that ruin it. I'd rather sit at home and listen to my wife tell me why it sucks rather than a teenager on their celly. yea he stole the movie the last time. Too much emphases on Spock and Kirk so Scotty just made the movie fun. Ah I liked Kirk and Spock but McCoy and Scotty were great as well. Checkov was hilarious. Randy Swofford
December 9, 201213 yr Cool! Big fan of the movies and series (except the first series which are a bit too retro for my taste)! Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
December 9, 201213 yr I am a big closet Trekkie. Loved the new movie except for the ship. Sorry for those that like it but the Enterprise-A to me was the best looking with the Enterprise-B running a close second. Tim Curtis MSFS2020, i7-9900k 5.0Ghz, 32GB Ram, Nvidia 3080, 48" LG OLED CX
December 9, 201213 yr I've always loved Star Trek and now my daughters are getting hooked. Nothing like "proper" escapism. Anthony O'Brien
December 12, 201213 yr Author This coming summer, there are actually a number of intriguing big budget sci-fi films in the wings. Here are two more. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. Devons rig Intel Core i5 13600K @ 5.1GHz / G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series Ram 64GB / GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC 12G Graphics Card / Sound Blaster Z / Meta Quest 2 VR Headset / Klipsch® Promedia 2.1 Computer Speakers / ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q ‑ 27" IPS LED Monitor ‑ QHD / 1x Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB / 2x Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB / 1x Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe / 1x Samsung 980 NVMe 1TB / 2 other regular hd's with up to 10 terabyte capacity / Windows 11 Pro 64-bit / Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX Motherboard LGA 1700 DDR5
December 12, 201213 yr The first scene in the "teaser", all the guys sitting in rows, really wasa TEASER !!! Based on that, I was expecting the movie to be a CARTOON. That's about the most unrealistic piece of CGI I have seen in years !! But that's OK, Star Trek will not be as good as it was with the original cast, a good story line, and the lack of the need to rely on an excess of ( expensive ? ) special effects.
