Yeah, that's a stunning piece of work there! Thanks for reporting back.

Thanks for being so condescending, but if you'd read my post, I asked about the new Germanwings livery (they rebranded earlier this year) and SN Brussels, the successor to Sabena which later rebranded as Brussels Airlines - neither of which I could find on the Aerosoft download page.

Best to actually read a post before slagging someone off about it!

For your reference:

SNB only had A319s so thought it was a long shot but worth asking. GWI do at least have orders for 320s

So there was no NEW Germanwings paint then ? No Brussels Airlines paints either ?

My point was that instead of asking here on AVSIM the same question 4 times , you could have tried looking on the Aerosoft site , either in the Tweaking / Liveries section of the Airbus forum , or looking in the Download section .  That the NEW Germanwings paint didn't exist in 2010 is not what I posted , just that repaints for the Airbus ( and I should know as I put a lot of them there myself ) have been available on the Aerosoft site since the day after it's initial release and the same applies for the Extended . That you ( and others )  are too lazy to actually look through several pages of repaints but do expect others to search for you , is why the request pages on the Aerosoft site has so many pages as people are " requesting " paints that are already available .

I posted multiple times because even though the website said there was an error and to try posting again later, it posted one message for each attempt. Sorry about that - clearly my fault!

And before you go calling people lazy - when did I ask anyone to search for me? I asked if there was a NEW Germanwings livery or old SN Brussels Airlines (an entirely different airline to Brussels Airlines - but you seem to have missed that point) livery available for the A320, as neither were on the Aerosoft download page. As it turns out - there was a new GWI repaint, but as it was under "A319" I presumed - in error - that this was only for the original Airbus X and not the extended, as there is no A319 model with the extended. Again, apologies for my sheer laziness and ignorance. FYI I clicked through every single page of repaints looking for the SNB livery before making my request.

I suggest you get your facts straight before you go slagging people off and calling them names, when it is in fact you who has misinterpreted my request.

Cool!

Was just on there an hour ago Olli, must have come away just before they released it!

Off to grab my newly pimped 'bus now.

Just bought this bird a week ago. Don't know my way around the Aerosoft forum (not even registered) - where and how do I get the update?

It's not a patch. You have to download the full bird again from where you last got it.

Does anybody know what the thrust problem is? I cannot get more than 85,6% of Takeoff thrust in this A320/321. Rotation attempts result in late takeoffs near the end of the runway in use.

Could someone help me with this issue?

I9 12900K @ 5.1ghz P-cores/ 4.0 ghz E-cores fixed HT off / Corsair iCue H150i Capellix Cooler/ MSI Z690 CARBON WiFi / 32GB Corsair DDR5 RAM @ 5200 mhz XMP on / 12GB MSI 4090 RTX Ventus 3 / 7,5 total TB SSD (2+2+2+1+0,5 all NVMe)/ PSU 850W Corsair / 27" (1080P)

T/O thrust depends on aircraft speed (thrust increases during the T/O roll), temps, derates etc. ... 85.6% doesn't sound that wrong.

Is your Airbus version 1.16? (T/O speeds were wrong in versions before v1.15.)

Hi Olli,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, it is 1.16.

I noticed that it is the temperature. At Eindhoven I cannot get more than 85,6% TO/GA

At someplace warm, like Nairobi, I get 92% TO/GA.

It is pretty strange though. The A320 seems to have worse engine performance than for example the 737-800 it seems. Also taxiing I have to push the throttles up in the direction of 40%.

But that is due to ground friction issues caused by FSX? As other airplanes as the QW757 and the LEvel-D 767 do not need more power than 20-24%.

Regards,

Peter

When you're making the comparison, were you at the same weights etc?

As already mentioned, the Airbus will move it's TOGA power dependent on conditions.

Karl Brooker

Density altitude will affect the max N1/EPR for TOGA, places like Eindhoven being at low altitude will reduce N1 because the air is thicker and vice versa for Nairobi.
